Final Destination 5 in theatres. After it was over, I immediately called up another friend to meet me at the theatre to watch it with me for my second time.

I can't do this. I'll watch all the extras but not the commentary. "I just watched the movie!" Then, when months or even a year goes by, I think, "Well, I want to watch the movie as a movie now." So I have 20 or 30 flicks with a Post It note on them that just says, "commentary"!

Occasionally I'll see something twice in the theaters, esp. those with a well-constructed plot or a big twist, because then you can watch how they foreshadowed or set things up:

Usual Suspects
Sixth Sense
Exotica
V for Vendetta
American Beauty
Contact
Matrix

...but not in the same day. I've snuck over to another screen for a different movie, though!

Saw Predator twice on opening day. Caught the opening matinee with a friend. Got home and couldn't shut up about how amazing it was, so my brother and another friend went to see it and I came along. I love watching movies, but with limited time it's hard to watch something over and over again.

Never in the theater, but at home I have many times. First view by myself, second with the family.

Superman Returns = Twice on opening night.

The Matrix Reloaded = Twice on opening night and then once every night for the following 6 nights.

Inception = I should have gone to see it twice on opening night since I went home after the first viewing and literally could not sleep a single wink thinking about it. I went to the first available showing the next day and slept like a baby that night.

EDIT: OOPS... already stated most of this over a year ago...

Another one I remember:

Casino Royale 3 times in one day. Woke up at 6am to grab the Wal-Mart exclusive (DVD at the time) and watched it as soon as I got home. Went back to sleep and woke up around 1 or so and took it to a friends house and watched it there. Then again at my cousin's house that evening after he got off work.

Like in the theatre? no but I have watched some movies at home like that, usually with the commentary on the second time.

I've watched Jurassic Park four or five times in one day--multiple times. The first time I watched Pulp Fiction, after the credits rolled, I restarted it and watched it from start to finish again. Growing up I watched Aladdin countless times in one day on multiple occasions.
