Also keep in mind, I've never seen a game like this, ever. The closest thing I've played to it, is the very first Halo game on the original Xbox. And this Battlefield 4 game looks scary to me. That is,In a fun kind of way. Looking forward to it. ![]() Last edited by Lovemy3D; 07-04-2013 at 04:58 AM. |

![]() Battlefield 4 could get PS4 mouse & keyboard support, says DICE Battlefield 4 developer DICE is open to mouse and keyboard support on PS4, according to producer Aleksander Grøndal. Bit of a scant one this, but when speaking with AusGamers, Grøndal was asked if the team would ever consider supporting the devices on Sony’s console. He replied, “We have mouse and keyboard support for the PC obviously, but I can’t speak now specifically for next gen consoles. But if it makes sense in the Battlefield universe, for a Battlefield game, we’ll consider it.” |

A great idea only if everyone uses it or there are mouse and keyboard specific rooms. To mix mouse and keyboard players with controller players will always be a bad idea.

It happens on pc, if you fell your at a disadvantage (which I would agree you are) then just use a mouse and keyboard. With that being said it isn't going to happen anyway so there really is no point in discussing it further.

I had a mouse and Keyboard for the Sega Dreamcast. It was great, especially if you want to chat. But of course, they use microphones now. (Which I'm not even sure I want, except when playing with select friends.)
Anyway, for game play I mostly used it for Quake 3 Arena. It had it's benefits, especially being able to spin around so quickly. But to be honest, I think my aim was better over all when I was using the controller. There were times when I really kicked ass with keyboard and mouse. But I wasn't as consistent. And I know there were other very skilled controller players. In short. I don't think it's a given that a keyboard and mouse player will have the advantage. Just depends on what one is good with. I think if the option is there, this time I'll stick with the controller. At least for gaming. I wouldn't mind the keyboard for other possible functions, such as typing. ![]() |

Alright, avoiding. Even though clicking on quote brought all the info out, lol. I dind't read any of it. I actually care more about the single player. I'll probably play online eventually, but not before I've played the offline mode to death. I heard the single player game in the previous one was very short, hopefully this one will have more to it.

Battlefield 4 developer DICE has shown off the next version of its social service Battlelog, which will tie deeper into the main PC and console game than before.
You use the app on your tablet or smartphone as a second screen device, showing player positions and map information in real time. You can also set up challenges for your friends - who kills the most tanks, for example - and get alerts if they overtake you. Away from the game, Battlelog can be used for customising loadouts and finding specific servers. EA is yet to reveal the trailer officially - hence why the version embedded below currently has Japanese subtitles. We'll replace it with an official one in due course. |
