MS have flexed their financial muscle and paid for early DLC.

1st DLC was all. That is the DLC that is free when you pre-order it.

Yeah, The 24 hour check in alone kills it for me. I wouldn't buy a PS4 either if it was totally dependent on an internet connection. Then lame policies like I can't give a game away, or even borrow one out. WTF. I likely wouldn't give a game away anyway, unless I really didn't like it. And probably not borrow one either, because I'd be worried about someone scratching it up. But it's the principle of it... Sure hope Sony doesn't pull crap like that.

So was the Battlefield 4 they showed during Microsoft for the 360 and PS3? I missed the beginning. Sorry if it was. The graphics looked out of this world. I thought it was Next Generation.. Mods can delete this thread if it was.

I watched the gameplay on GT and I was blown away. COD is now dead to me. They've been rehashing the same crap and cashing in way too long.

BF4 is the only game I've seen let players jump out of skyscrapers in base jumps, whilst also being allowed to enter jet skis, gunboats and gunship helicopters. Tanks are also included.

The overall variety and destruction ability in this title made my eyes almost explode

I think i'm going to pick this up for launch, but i'm also torn on so many other games. Guess it'll all come down to reviews and then prioritising

I was done with COD after WAW I had Ops for 4months til BFBC2 came out. Be nice to see a new Bad Company for PS4 in late 2015. BF4 is going to be sweet I hope a lot more of the COD player's come over to play a real game that use's team work. I haven't read up a lot on BF4 but I noticed they had 5man squad what's with that . It's better than the 4 player squads but with 32 players on each side why not just make it 6 same crap as 5 they don't add up. 8 player squad would be cool but feel it could also screw up a team as well.

I think it was a different one. China Rising is the expansion pack you get with pre-order, the pack they mentioned at MS was called Second Strike.

Just preordered Battlefield 4 with a PS4 at gamestop along with Watchdogs. I really hope Battlefield is a launch title. Gamestop had zero dates for everything.

The Amazon Video Games team thanks you for pre-ordering “Battlefield 4." Your purchase has qualified you for a bonus Battlepack. This contains a combination of new weapon accessories, dog tags, knives, XP boosts, and character customization items for use when "Battlefield 4" launches later this year.
Just got 2 email's with the code's already pre ordered on PS3 and PS4.

The 64 players, huge maps, and real destruction are big winners for me.

Though I still want to see if there is any soldier customization, also there was a rumor that female soldiers would be in MP. I want to see that (though I imagine the cyber harassment would be through the roof).

Who gives a shit honestly. To me those kinds of money hats are nothing but a mere annoyance. Would rather play it on the more powerful hardware!

PC. Most multiplatform games are going to be the PC version since it's the best looking. And, technically, even a lot of first party games are going to be run on PC dev kits.

Edit - The only gameplay difference for PS3 and Xbox 360 should be player limit in multiplayer. And maybe they'll make the maps slightly smaller.

Stop being a cheap a$$ Nolan. Still undecided on what system. Guess it depends on who's all going to get PS4 @ launch or when BF4 launches.
