I ordered it at £10.03 so it qualified for free postage. Probably explains why they haven't lowered it to the new price in my account.

No it's part of the Pre-order policy that they can't do that. It usually takes a few days or sometimes up to a week to update the price when viewing your orders...check back next week and it should go down to that price. If it was over £10 when you originally ordered they can't make you pay extra postage later on because of the item dropping in price before release.

Thank you for those pictures, Nick. This release looks great. If anyone doesn't have Ripping Yarns yet, there is a special offer at the moment if you buy The Utter History of Britain:

Cheers James. Its worth noting that an episdode of Ripping Yarns was shown on BBC HD channel last weekend. I am not sure if that was an upscale or there is an HD transfer available and therefore may be a blu ray release in the works?

Interesting. The U.S. release got so-so reviews so I'm hoping this will be an improvement as I'm yet to buy that one. Much better artwork on this as well and hated the fact that it was called 'The Terrorists' when I've always known it as Ransom.

Brilliant! I actually had and sold the ITV BD. The noise was quite heavy and it was going for decent money so I thought I'd either wait it out or buy the much cheaper Australian one. A proper special edition as well it looks like!

So just for info, looks like an awesome release

Ipcress File (The) - Released 28th July 2014

New

Featuring a quintessential performance from multiple Oscar-winner Sir Michael Caine and an iconic score from the legendary John Barry, this stylised and compelling Cold War spy movie won multiple awards on its theatrical release - including three BAFTAs. The Ipcress File is featured here in a High Definition transfer made from original film elements in its as-exhibited theatrical aspect ratio.

Harry Palmer, a stubbornly insolent sergeant working for the Ministry of Defence, is less than thrilled to be transferred to an elite counter-intelligence unit under threat of blackmail. Palmer and the rest of his unit follow the trail of a missing scientist, but when he finds a piece of tape marked "IPCRESS" in an abandoned warehouse he suddenly becomes a marked man...

SPECIAL FEATURES
[] Michael Caine is Harry Palmer - exclusive interview with Sir Michael Caine
[] Exclusive interview with production designer Sir Ken Adam
[] Commentary with director Sidney Furie and film editor Peter Hunt
[] Michael Caine Goes Stella comedy short
[] 1969 documentary: Candid Caine
[] Original theatrical trailer and US radio commercials
[] Stills gallery

Woooooooooow. Network is becoming one of the top companies! Bad Timing is among the first two or three Roegs: I'd put it between the often misunderstood Insignificance and Don't Look Now. Technically speaking, it could be Roeg' most challenging work: the editing and the use of music are very remarkable - it also features a short passage from Jarrett's great Koln Concert The cover art is also great, 'cause one of the first sequences, if I remember correctly, takes place in a museum where paintings by Klimt are displayed, and that cover is quite Klimt-esque.
Do we have a date?
