Started playing yesterday evening and the game is digital crack! I love how the clubs level up individually so it gives you a constant sense of progression.

Same here. Ha, like I said in my previous post I probably went by it a bunch and I sure did. The first one is a gold spec in front of the steps where you go to sign up for tournaments. Look closely and you will see a shiny object. Position your character above it and you will be able to pick up with X button.

man i wish we could choose to record shots like in older games ... i got another beautiful hole in one but it was an unofficial game so it didn't record it .... ugghhh

i think this may be the easiest one of the series .. I've only played about 6 games so far and i am chipping in crazy shots from pretty far out .. have 2 hole in ones already ... it took me months to play like i am here on older games ... and it certainly isn't me experience since i haven't played on in some time and last one i did was the vita one which just handles differently since its not just a controller in hand

I can't chip for crap but I can putt from a mile away while in the fringe.

I would be great if there was an option to record the great shots like the older games. I've just been doing the share button save video method. I'll get around to editing them eventually. I've yet to hit a hole in one though.

Is there any way to view friends top scores and stats? I've had a look and can't find anything. I'm loving the game.

For those who pre-ordered on Best Buy, looks like Best Buy has sent out more codes today to fix the pre-order items error codes that they original sent out that contained the full version of the game only to do it yet again.

I have now to received two full game codes instead of my pre-order DLC items.

What are people's perfect impact percentage? I seem to be stuck around 21-22% and not really improving. Had a horrible round where I missed fairway four holes in a row. Before I use to barely miss getting perfect but now I am more off on average. I can regress in these type of things in sports games. Did get a beauty of a chip from 128.7 yards out for eagle. But the conditions were perfect with distance and wind. Just glad it was an official shot. One of my few auto saved videos so far.

the stats say mine is 49% but i know that is majorly askewed by my putting .. i almost never get perfect impact on putting , because honestly it doesn't really matter with putting anyway .... on all other shots id say i get it 85% of the time ... usually the only time i don't seem to get it is with a low power shot .. for some reason waiting extra long to hit that 3rd click throws my timing off .... the gameplay is certainly fun , but man it is so much more of a grind than it ever was .. not crazy about having to keep playing the same course over and over , in the beginning here .. i need 2 more vs characters to get to tournament level 3 .. so that is like 5 more games played on the same course still ... so now after like 3 rounds i am pretty much done playing where in the past i would play for 2 hours easily ..

Make sure you turn serious mode on (

), it cuts the grind in half. If you're lucky enough to find an 18 hole tournament, you can get to the next vs after completion.

I was wondering the same thing. I thought it made it more competitive so I turned it on one round and still dominated.

I'd say it increases the difficulty. Maybe it's just me but the AI seems to play a little better. I'm never as far ahead on the leader board when I play serious mode.
