Yup. clearly Tamasha was so much more of her comfort zone that even in a non-author backed role she looked apt for that role there.

BEWARE! DO NOT BUY THIS Blu-ray. The so called Dolby Atmos track has no audio. I MEAN, NO AUDIO. The only working audio track available is the LOSSY Dolby Digital 6.1 track. Eros as always remains Zeros.

PS: Although the cover has three audio tracks listed, the disc itself has only two audio tracks:
1. Dolby Atmos (default) <- No audio reproduced with the Oppo BDP-103
2. Dolby Digital 6.1

UPDATE: Apparently it seems there is a compatibility issue with the Oppo BDP-103 Blu-ray player. I tried the disc in a PS4 and the Dolby Atmos track does have audio. But sorry to report that the audio is quite poor. There is no bass to speak of. Even after boosting the sub-woofer channel by 12db there is still hardly any bass. I would rate the overall Dolby Atmos audio no more than 2.5 out of 5. This is easily one of the poorest sounding new Hindi blu-rays I have heard in a long time.

Really...I suspect your collection BDs not have Dolby Atmos.

Hmm. Hoax or believe.

This is not true! This BD indeed has an Atmos track encoded via True-HD codec. How did you come to this conclusion that it has only lossy DD6.1?

Are you absolutely sure about this.

BM has 2 "Lossless" tracks listed: Atmos and DTS-HD & 1 "lossy"

If this is true, Eros has some how managed to mess this up ROYALLLYY

Bottom line is, zEros have truly screwed this Blu-ray up and this is easily one of the poorest sounding Hindi blu-rays I have heard in a long time.

After giving such stellar AQ for SLB's RAM LEELA in 7.1 DTS-HD MA, I cannot believe EROS completely screwed this up for such an important war epic.

This Dolby Atmos here should've been reference level with classical music soundtrack. I was so excited about the this release.

Thank God I bought PHANTOM and my next will be WAZIR (Dolby Atmos).

Agree the bass level seems low and not up to par here. I just tried my
disk and played the "malhari" song where he's hammering the drum
and my sub was putting out much lower than what I expected there.

APOLOGIES: This is quite embarrassing, but it turns out that the bass and overall audio is fine on the disc. This is what happened. Initially I started watching the movie on the Oppo BDP-103 Blu-ray player. But for some reason there was NO audio with the default Dolby Atmos track. The only way to get audio was by switching to the redundant, lossy Dolby Digital 6.1 track. It then occurred to me to ty the disc in the PS4. With the PS4 the Dolby Atmos track worked but the bass was almost non existent. I even boosted the sub-woofer channel to the maximum +12db, to no avail and this is how I ended up watching the movie. This lack of bass and therefore the overall audio impact was reflected in my earlier posts and the 2.5 out of 5 rating. Today it occurred to me to try the disc again in the Oppo to see if the bass was fine in the Dolby Digital 6.1 track. Lo & behold, not only did the Dolby Atmos track work this time, but the bass too miraculously appeared and suddenly the audio came to life. What a difference some bass can make. I then proceeded to try the disc again in the PS4 and guess what, NO bass again. Considering that both the Oppo and the PS4 are merely bit-streaming to the Pre-Pro this made no sense. So I further investigated the Pre-Pro settings and it so turns out, that the Auddysey settings are set individually for each input and the Auddysey-LFC setting was ON & set to -4. Which explained the lack of bass with the PS4. In my defense, do keep in mind, that I have never ever watched a movie with the PS4 prior to this and therefore it never occurred to me that the Auddysey settings could be the cause of the lack of bass. In any case, my apologies to all for the confusion. So in the end, based on a brief viewing of the disc with the Dolby Atmos track and with proper bass, I'd rate the audio approx. 4.25 out of 5.0 I suppose I'll have to watch the entire movie again to be able to judge fairly though.

PS: One thing is for sure, there is some compatibility issue between the Oppp BDP-103 and this disc. Whereby, the Dolby Atmos track sometimes does not stream any audio. Also, even when the Dolby Atmos track worked, switching between Atmos and the Dolby Digital track, disrupts the video signal too for a moment. Which is not normal. Also, there is no DTS HD MA 5.1 track on the disc as listed on the back of the cover.

Sanjay,

I'm worry. You said, "working on Atmos." I feel relieved.

I experienced on my collection many movies Atmos. I'll test on Bajirao Mastani BDs. My AV/receiver have extra bass off or on.

I can't wait to get the movie.

Bass is there throughout the movie and I already watched this and
enjoyed it too. After Sanjay's comments I went back and played a song
and felt the base drums could've been better in that song.
Maybe I was looking for it after Sanjay ..

Wink

Guys, no worries!

I am just glad now EROS has joined RELIANCE and SHEMAROO in providing audiophiles "object based" sound in DOLBY ATMOS with probably DTS:X to follow.

Like my bold prediction with BAJIRAO MASTANI here, I like to predict T-SERIES will be next to join "object based" DOLBY ATMOS! with AIRLIFT or NEERJA.

I was really disappointed with T-SERIES' PKTDK (1998) 2-channel LPCM when original motion picture soundtrack was clearly had DTS mix as I vividly recall watching it in cinemas with logo displayed before movie started.

Since then, T-SERIES has adopted "lossless" dts-hd ma on regular basis as their learning curve is quite steep.

The picture quality is good, but the picture does not jump out at you, lacking some depth & color. DNR isn't too bad and I'd rate the video 4.25 out of 5.0

PS: I subtracted 0.25 for the superimposed Eros logo that appears briefly during songs.

4.25 out of 5.00 is way too high if PQ do not jump pot and there are depth and color issues as you put it.

If eros RAM LEELA BRD is to go buy, I'd say PQ of it is around 3.75 out of 5.00. Detail clearly missing.

Maybe eros has some marginal PQ improvements in RAM LEELA.

For comparison picture quality looks better than Dilwale & PRDP on my screen.
It's not bad for a Bollywood blu and everything is relative.
