So exciting! Here’s hoping a company will pick up the English friendly release. Would be great if it came with Kuba Mikurda’s new doc Escape to the Silver Globe

Wish Mondo Vision would do SOMETHING with these. Will I end up with another LCQF Zulawski in the meantime?

They did say on their FB page a couple of months ago that there is a US release due - did not name the company, of course.
The cost of what the Polish Government was asking for to license the films was the big obstacle holding things up, so I wonder if things aren't in place yet for English friendly releases. Unless this is prelude to MV coming back Phoenix-like...

Damn this threads been bumped for years without any actual news, but now that an official announcement is finally made, no one seems to care all that much. Well, I'll be excited for all of you. True that "new 4K restorations" is pretty vague, but still, THEY'RE COMING!

I'm VERY, VERY excited about these releases and will be getting all of them, because I can.
But this is the Mondo Vision thread and not the Eureka or LCQF thread, and we sadly haven't heard anything from Mondo Vision in years...

Wasn't the last rumor about them was that they might be releasing Possession in 4K and this trilogy of films was still in development?

The last news from Mondo Vision was 2021, posted a page back. Possession is coming but the trilogy is up in the air:

Yep, but that's second-hand info from a forum member (who at least I don't know anything else about) about Mondo Vision, and not an actual public sign of life from MV themselves.

I also hope this to be true, but the info still has a solid aura of uncertainty around it...

Is this still coming? Being released in France and United Kingdom but no updates on the U.S. edition.

I've had hopes for some sort of announcement since that second-hand news in 2021. But this post from Jared A. over on the Eureka/MoC thread keeps the intrigue going...

My region free kit doesn't appear to work so I may not be able to play these for a while. Don't want to miss out in the event no Mondo comes. This will be my back up - the LCQF isn't English friendly so that's not an option for me.

Daniel Bird involvement with this where he was previously involved with the Mondo Vision releases gets me thinking.

Jared A.
A little Birdie told me while MV still has US rights to these films it is not likely they will be out any time soon over here.

Is there ANYONE willing to go on the record about Mondo V?

Mondo Vision have given me the OK to say: if you're a fan of a certain Zulawski epic, you'll probably be hearing some very good news in the next week or so.
