My order of the Star Trek 50 box set arrived at my house in CA 2 days after ordering it and before the order was marked as shipped online, so I've got zero complaints!

Actually, in the case of "The Iron Giant" no tracking number and no disc yet (I live in MA and it usually takes two days at the most to get here).

Don't start slipping now, guys. I've been singing your praises quite a bit of late.
And mere minutes after the post...guess what materialized? The tracking number!

We run a really small authorization when you place your order. It won't tie up your available credit but it will let us both know if you fatfingered your CVV code (or something else) before before it matters.
Cool, thanks!

I've never had a problem with Bullmoose up until a couple weeks ago. I have ordered Pieces with puzzle, New World criterion etc. all in mint condition and perfectly packaged for shipping. Then I ordered two Arrow titles, Microwave Massacre and the Bloodstained Butterfly and they both were packaged perfectly but all the stickers on the blu-rays were peeled off for some reason and they had about three stickers a piece. I wouldn't have cared but the person who peeled the stickers off put tremendous force on the front cover with their fingers and it left the case and artwork insert with deep indents. As an OCD collectors I couldn't add them to my Arrow collection and had to re-order these titles from a different company. Now I'm afraid to place another order with Bullmoose because I don't want the indents on my cases and artwork. Is this the normal process for Bullmoose online ordering?

You sure can! Just login, click on your email address in the upper right hand corner of the page, then click on the "Click here to redeem your Bull Moose gift card" link, enter the gift card number (under the barcode) and security code (bottom right hand corner on the back) and the credit will be added to your account. There is also a link on the checkout page that will let you add the gift card to your current order. Any remaining credit will be added to your account."

Can you clear up any confusion? Are the GC sold online different than those from the store or is this some outdated information?
Ooops! Outdated information. Gift Cards didn't work on the website until recently (like; last month recently). They're the same gift cards the programming on the backend just has been updated. We should probably update the website as well.

Sorry to hear that. The process is both normal, and not. All the stuff we sell online is stuff that's available for sale on the shelf at our stores so most of them will have price labels on them, as well as sale stickers in many instances. We try to train people to keep things nice when they're repricing or removing labels; but mistakes do happen from time to time. I think in your case there are 2 things that we could try:

1) If you're not satisfied with the condition of your item we will definitely accept returns on it. Everyone's definition of good condition is different so we totally understand that what may not bother someone else might bother you. You should be able to get something that you want in the condition you want it in: totally reasonable! Sorry for messing up the first time

2) After your order you can send us a quick email to leave the stickers on. Normally we take all the stickers and labels off stuff before we send it out; but we can also instruct our order pickers to leave them on for you. Wouldn't be too big a deal.

Very much appreciated, I'll just ask for the stickers to be left on my next order.

amazon beats this by quite a bit giving 20% off preorders and newly released (i believe first week?)

hopefully i'm not coming off as a jerk but i didn't realize there are people who shop online frequently that are still without prime. it's too good to pass up especially with their video/music streaming, unlimited cloud storage, free kindle books and of course free shipping.

those are not free services. Prime is this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/custo...deId=200444160

anyway, back on topic, without a <7$ used selection I don't see myself shopping here. I don't pay more than 10$ for movies unless its something really special. new releases don't concern me and i'd never preorder.

sorting by price is a must and i'm surprised the website does not support it.

Never had any issues searching on their site. I can find anything I want very easily. I think people expect to much sometimes and think that just typing something in should give the exact results. I mean it never hurt anyone to do a little work to find something right?

Also AMZ is just matching BB's GCU (big shocker ) which is better because most of the time you get a $10 RZ cert on top of the savings.

If it wasn't for the grandfathered sharing thing I would have canned it 2 years ago, but for now I still fronting my kids.

For me
Video streaming -- zero interest
Cloud storage -- no interest
Kindle -- zero use
Music streaming -- zero interest

I needed it for free shipping back when Amazon had better Bluray prices than everyone consistently, but when they stopped attempting to compete on price then it became a nonissue.

The new strongarm/near blackmail tactics to force Prime on anyone who even wants to order a simple item is a new low.
Ditto for me as well. Their video streaming is a joke as most of the stuff on there is crap. Could care less as well about any of the other things you mentioned. Also BullMoose is awesome.

Ironically; we already have a ton of used movies in all of our stores; but as you aptly point out there isn't a super great way to FIND them. If you are clicking on the site you can go to a main content page (like: http://www.bullmoose.com/c/13/movies-dvd for DVDs) and you'll see a filter system on the left where you can pick genre, new/used, and set a price range: but that feels more like a hack than a feature (Hey; I'm just bein honest here). It's kind of a work in progress for us - but we ARE working on it.

RE: Paypal - I hear you all. I'd love to get Paypal going on the webstore myself. It's another work in progress; and honestly its great to see so many people clamor for it. Gives me more screencaps to send to the tech squad.

I placed an order today, but really prefer to use Paypal to pay and it does impact where I shop.

And yes, the website is pretty horrific to search through unless you know exactly what you want before you go to the site (and then search that name). Today I knew one title I wanted from your site, then the other titles I search through a bunch of stuff just to get ideas of what to buy (all 50 pages of your Bluray offerings).

However, as I'm sure you have discovered, even searching all does not lead to to everything that is available or able to be ordered. If I hadn't done the deep diving even beyond the 50 pages with individual searches, I would have "walked away."

Certainly advise your team to add in search parameters of various types, and include everything you can order from the company in some way.

Decades, Genere (which I see you have), Studios, etc can be helpful pieces, though they can be work to create.

I would really like to be able to sort by price and release date if possible. It would also be nice to be able to search for a studio and have it bring up that studio's releases.

All of those seem really key, I agree. Especially by studio when you're looking for Arrow or Shout Factory stuff (or even if you're a big fan of, say, Paramount or something). Our DVD guy tries to curate a mini page of that sort of thing (Shout/Scream Factory, Criterion, Warner Archive, Arrow, etc) at http://www.bullmoose.com/c/12860/ - but a clickable filter to go by studio would be easier for you guys I think

For those that are looking to get quicker tracking information I highly recommend signing up for a My USPS account. I had an order from Bull Moose prepared for shipment today and the tracking information is already showing on My USPS.

Child's Play(Scream Factory Collectors Edition) seems to have dropped to $17.97

http://www.bullmoose.com/p/23276229/...play-blu-ray-r

Tenebrae is also $17.97 (currently $22.99 on Amazon)

Since we have the Moose here on the forum, any comment as to whether that price will hold? I was planning to use some points that I would get from an order that should ship on 9/27.

This may have been mentioned, but if the price drops on an item that I have preordered, is there an adjustment made before shipping or would I have to reorder? Thanks!

I'm not sure. I pre-ordered Child's Play along with An American Werewolf In London and Carrie a few weeks back at $19.97. I just shot them an email to see if they will update the order with the current price. We'll see what they say.

Do they take funds out immediately when pre-ordering? I'm thinking of ordering from this company.
