Bull Moose is a chain of music and video stores located in Maine and New Hampshire. They often beat the new release prices of the big box stores (Amazon, Best Buy, etc.) and only charge sales tax to residents of Maine and New Hampshire. Shipping is free on minimum purchases of $30.

Also, each purchase earns Bull Moose points that can be applied to future purchases. I don't know what the formula is for earning points, but I've received approximately one point for every $13 spent.

How are they for shipping orders that contain pre orders? Will they hold everything or ship as things become available?

Just added a bunch of pre orders to my cart at Bullmoose and Amazon to compare prices. I chose Chopping Mall, Blood Diner, An American Werewolf, Iron Giant, Highlander, and Labyrinth. Total shipped at Bullmoose came to $101.82. Amazon is $116.81 plus $7.30 tax for a total of $124.11. Bullmoose has a savings of $22.29! That's pretty much a whole other movie. As long as I can manage a minimum order of $30 to get the free shipping Bullmoose is looking like my go to for the next month at least.

Great question. Since the minimum is only $30, you might want to group your pre-orders by release dates. I haven't done any multi-item preorders. I've only ordered a couple box sets from them; both were bubble wrapped and shipped via Priority Mail.

Yeah it looks like grouping items by release date is the way to go. Between their cheaper prices, no tax for me, and points system, Bullmoose has a triple threat against Amazon that is looking tough to beat.

They had the best preorder price that I've seen for the Frankenstein Legacy Collection. I've got that and An American Werewolf in London preordered through BullMoose.

I've ordered things from them in the past and had no problems. They usually send items in bubble mailers depending on the size.

Shipping is fast and they haven't waited for preorders to ship the rest of my items (with free shipping).

Their stores are great. And, as mentioned, there is no sales tax in New Hampshire, so only Maine residents pay tax (unless they visit stores in New Hampshire).

Another tip, Bullmoose prices for new games are typically $56 instead of $60 on release day.

Nothing but positive things to say about ordering from Bullmoose. Great prices, free shipping over $30 (reasonable when you buy blu's) and their point system. I hope we can use this as a dedicated thread for deals from them. I've posted a few times in particular film's threads mentioning the prices. Glad to see you start this Jar Jar.

Definitely a good store to keep on eye on for niche labels.

I never order online from them, only because I'm in Maine and visit the local store frequently. Nothing but great experiences all around, one of my favorite places.

They'll have Now You See Me 2 4K for $21.97 until the weekend if you missed the Amazon price a while back.

Appears to be in stock and shipping Wed so possible delivery before Amazon updated shipping date and $30+ cheaper assuming you pay tax to Amazon. It does say low stock now so they may be getting a last minute rush of ticked off Amazon customers

Is the Iron Giant figure metal? It looks like plastic in the one photo I saw. I like the movie, but $47 for the swag seems like a bit much.

Plus, I've never liked the books included in those big WB sets. I think this might be a better investment for just $17: The Art of the Iron Giant Hardcover – September 20, 2016

Yes, although we say free shipping is at $30, it actually kicks in a few cents below $30. It's like a digital version of the penny jar we have on the counter.

We ship as items become available. If you spend $30 on films with different release dates, you get free shipping even though we will send you more than one package. We want your movies in you player, not in our back room.
