Default Impulse buying

I promised myself when I started upgrading to Blu Ray that unlike my DVD days this time I would have a collection of films I genuinely loved, with exceptions being made for guilty pleasures, and films with nostalgia value.

But it's happened again! Flicking through my collection lately I was surprised how many titles I've bought that I now think "eh, was that really worth getting"? Titles that I bought too quickly after enjoying them on SKY then realising I don't really need to see them again, or that they wasn't as good as I first thought.

I've just sold...Jurassic World, Bring it On, Drag me to Hell, Revolutionary Road, Training Day, American Sniper, Source Code, Logans Run and Grace, to try and tidy my collection up again.

Do any of you find this to be a problem? In future I think I need a cool off period of a couple of weeks after seeing a movie to make sure I really liked it enough to own. Sometimes you feel like a title just should be in a collection too. I'd be interested to know how many of you who buy these classy highbrow titles by Criterion for example actually watch them, at least more than once. Or the Disney collectors? Sure the Disney titles are highly regarded classic important pieces of cinema but how many of you come home from work kick of your shoes and watch 'Bambi'?

Thoughts please?
