I really do enjoy this transfer. Def looking forward to the new one but will keep this one around for sure!

Not really a bargain, I've seen this title for about $10 regularly.

Do we know for sure this comes with a slipcover? I was under the impression it was a slipbox release (i.e. The Hills Have Eyes, Pieces). But can't find a product description to verify one way or the other.

Now that I look there doesn't seem to actually be any indication on if this is a cardstock slipcover or chipboard slipbox, but I conversely just assumed that the packaging details would mirror their Brain Damage release.

I also always just assumed it would be slip cover like Brain Damage. I hope it is a slip cover.

In my mind it was going to be a nice slipcover like Brain Damage. Guess cause the movies are loosely tied together and they both come with a pin, I just assumed they'd have similar packaging. I'd love for it to be a slip box though.

Does Diabolik have a tendency to ship early?

I have the two Argentos' pre-ordered through Amazon, but I am wondering if I should order them from Diabolik also as Amazon packages pretty poorly and don't want to get stuck with a damaged box or nothing.

So arrow is doing this one in 1.85:1 vs full frame? Very excited to check this one out but I do feel like 1.33:1 fits the movie better. Anyone know the details of how this movie is meant to be seen?

Whoa. I just realized the new release was listed as being in(matted) widescreen. I recall Henenlotter preferring the un-matted version since he wasn't aware of aspect ratio/matting at the time. That's why all past releases including the previous blu-ray he released were 1.33.

I have a feeling this will be too tight in the framing department(unless past releases were zoomed in?) and don't understand why they didn't opt to include both aspect ratios like Anchorbay did with The Evil Dead?
