Is BestBuy only getting a 4K Steelbook, or a standard blu-ray steelbook too? I'd hate for Solo to be me only one without a proper steelbook.
Best Buy are only doing a 4K steelbook for Solo.

I was hoping they'd include some of the footage that canned when they switched directors

It would be really interesting to see a workprint of it at some point, but I'm sure that whatever Lord and Miller shot will be locked away in the Disney vault, never to see the light of day.

Yeah with a studio like WB I think there's a chance for something like the Snyder cut of Justice League someday. Not a large chance, but a chance. Disney though? No way that stuff EVER sees the light of day, IMO.

Pretty sure the Disney Movie Club version has a DVD. I got that has my featured title for the month

Yeah, it has all the issues of the Snyder cut (why would the studio spend all that money on finishing another version of a film which failed at the box office, and a cut which they were unhappy with anyway) plus more. As you say, Disney is not the company to do alternate cuts (don't see those extended cuts of Force Awakens and Last Jedi, nor the earlier cut of Rogue One, coming), plus Lord and Miller were fired before shooting was completed (cause if Lucasfilm waited, they could not be fired) so there was no workprint made nor even all the footage available for it to work logistically if Disney for some reason wanted to.

can't wait for solo 4k. Just to play that explosion at the end of the train scene. That was the coolest thing since the OT. Every time I saw it in the theatre I would wait for it too cool. Also all that falcon footage goodness.

Darn I didn’t realize there was a Target exclusive that had extra features, I thought the only thing that made it exclusive was the Millennium Falcon toy... but there’s a toy-less listing that’s sold out.

And I reallyyyy don’t want to apply for a Redcard either for the one with the toy.

I also liked the Walmart slips for TFW & RO, those are the exclusives I decided to go with. Its a shame they didn't continue them. For Solo I decided to go with the BB steel since I like the Falcon on the front & the inside art.

I wish this version was closer to their Rogue One exclusive. Gosh the packaging on that 3D version was amazing.

My brother's got this on pre-order. Can't wait to watch it again. Loved it. But man, I really hate that junk Disney has started putting on their covers.

Question

Are the only exclusives the BB Steel, and the Target w/ the ship? Does anybody get any extra content?
