Of its Era film that has mysticism instead of the usual animal horror films.

Mill Creek posted on Facebook yesterday that their releases are seeing a bunch of manufacturer delays that have affected several of their releases. Shout Factory has been experiencing this too. Anyways, they say this is still coming on 10/16. Fingers crossed.

According to a personal note sent to me in regards to their recent delays, Mill Creek responded and told me they have had a few issues with their replicator and that's what has been causing their recent difficulties. Films got backed up while they made the necessary repairs and they are working hard on getting caught back up to meet street dates. They are very sorry for any inconvenience and appreciate the patience while they fix the situation.

It makes sense, the recent closure of the replicating plant in the US seems to be affecting multiple studio's new releases right now. Now it's pretty much resorting to getting discs replicated in Mexico or elsewhere.

Amazon now shows a release date of October 23. Seeing will be believing, but Mill Creek did tweet on October 2 that their first run samples had arrived.

Cancelled again! 'Not available to order" and "Currently Unavailable"! What the hell is wrong with this company? You can't believe a damn thing they say.

If they can't deliver, quit announcing release dates!

the Mill Creek titles that are part of the exclusive VHS series for Walmart aren't out yet either. they said they were having pressing issues so i wouldn't panic or get all snippy yet. this will come out just a little late.

release dates are planned well in advance. if the pressing plants have issues that isn't exactly something any of the companies can plan for. this title isn't the only one affected by this. have some patience it will come out when it can.

First release date was 10/2, then 10/9, then 10/16, and lastly 10/23. That's just stupidiy.

it's the way things go sometimes. get over it not the end of the world. they don't have control over the pressing plant issues.

It sucks but I have plenty of other stuff to watch. I just dont want them to cancel the release completely. Hopefully in November some time.

Amazon e-mailed me to see if I still wanted to keep it on order. They had no idea when it will ever come out. They apologized for the incovenience. I of course I clicked yes. I don't have any expectations anymore.

I got that email as well, selected "Accept" box (well, was pre-selected) so as not to cancel my order. It was so long ago I had totally forgotten I had pre-ordered this BD until I got this email from Amazon today saying it was delayed. Sure, why not.
