Launching November 12 for $6.99 a month or $69.99 a year. It will have a disney, marvel, star wars, pixar, and national geographics stuff. Along with TV shows (including all 30 seasons of the simpsons) and new original series.

At this point, The Mandalorian and Falcon and Winter Soldier are the only two series that really interest me.

From 9 to 5 Mac article

Interestingly, Disney did not make mention of specific platform details for Disney+. Instead, it simply said that the Disney+ application will be available on smart TVs, phones, tablets, and computers. Roku and PS4 were both specifically teased, but there was no mention of other connected set-top boxes – such as Apple TV. [Update: A slide shown later in the presentation clearly shows an Apple TV.]

I’m happy about this because it breaks up Netflix’s monopoly. So many people only watch movies if they’re on Netflix. It’s sad. Now they’ll have to turn somewhere else to watch Disney films. Effort. Yay.

I'm really hyped for it! The fact that they said that the entire The Simpsons series (even if I wasn't a fan of the Fox merger, this is still great news!), a new Phineas and Ferb movie (and every episode of the show), downloadable content, and more was announced is very exciting!

My only real complaint is that I'm a little disappointed that they didn't confirm if Disney Afternoon/One Saturday Morning shows like Darkwing Duck, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers, and Mickey Mouse Works as well as Walt Disney Treasures type content like the Disney short films, Walt-era Television, and the People and Places series will be included. But since we still have over seven months until launch, let's hope that they're just waiting for later to announce them!

That right there. The Marvel and Star Wars stuff is a pretty big factor in getting Disney+ but I'd take all of that content over Marvel and Star Wars. That's my childhood right there. I'd love to share a lot of that stuff with my kids.

They said they would likely combine Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu. I'm not interested in sports, but the other two combined would be great.

Definitely a better price than I was expecting. Less than $6/month with the annual plan. Although I'm sure the price will rise over time, just like every other subscription service.

$6.99 a month is incredibly affordable, and the vault is being retired? Sign me up!

So Agents of SHIELD’s days on Netflix are numbered, I take it?

I don't know about that, but last I read the Marvel shows currently on Netflix like Daredevil, Jessica Jones and all won't be leaving Netflix until sometime in 2020. They won't be going to Disney+, but who knows what will happen to them. Maybe they will finally get a BD release?

I'd like to see what they have up their sleeves for a Disney+/ESPN+/Hulu bundle price.

Yeah, but Agents of Shields isn't a Netflix Original.

I wonder if Disney+ will ever have some of their more "cult" shows from the 80s and 90s, like Welcome to Pooh Corner, and Adventures in Wonderland?
