None of these really interest me.

The equivalent of someone on a forum post padding to me, with these series.

I may eventually watch Mandalorian just because Favreau has earned a give it a chance card for anything he works with for me.

I have a feeling they may just call this series, The Rogue, or something like that.

Disney+'s CASSIAN ANDOR series is set to begin filming in June 2020 in Europe!

The series will provide flashbacks to Cassian's past with Lucasfilm looking to cast the 9 year old sister of the main character.

Since Obi Wan seems to be delayed, do you guys think this show is going to get fast tracked?

I loved Rogue One but this is another case where you have to ask: Is there a clamoring for a Cassian Andor "prequel"? I mean.... the dude did his thing and had a slight character arc in RO which was enough for me. Why do we have to see the lead up or what he did in high school?

I dont get the infatuation of these seemingly pointless backstory movies or whatever. Whats next: Shmi Skywalker - The Teenage Years. Jango Fett - From Conception to Kintergarden. Chirrit Enwe(speliing bad, I know) - When he Could See.

We'll see how these go but I dont see the intrigue, personally.

I agree. This may be Solo 2.0. The only thing this has going for it that Solo didn't is the same actor being involved.

Who really wanted this show about this specific character? I loved Rogue One, but this character was nothing special at all. We're about to have another Solo on our hands if they go forward with this.

Yup. I loved Rogue One but I have no desire to know anything else about this character. What a weird idea for a show.

A Chirrut & Baze series would have been better, but I'll check this out.

I think if Disney+ takes off, it should be used to introduce general audiences to other periods in the Star Wars Universe's history, lets move away from the OT, PT and ST.

I thought Rogue One was okay, but K-2SO was the probably the character that really popped.

Looking forward to seeing more from this time period. Presumably we’ll initially be seeing a more idealistic version of the character and the gradual impact the conflict has on him.

Cassian Andor series adds Genevieve O’Reilly and Denise Gough, with O'Reilly reprising Mon Mothma. Tony Gilroy is now the showrunner. Source
