Ted Price has said time and again that they enjoy their independence, I still feel it would be good from both sides if Insomniac just became a 1st party, other 1st Party Devs are pretty independent (ND, PD, etc), I'm sure SCEA wouldn't mess with that....A couple of other devs that Sony should try to acquire are Sucker Punch (Sly, Infamous) and Level 5 (Dark Cloud, WKS)

I'm pretty sure they already own Sucker Punch.

wow! that picture is amazing. this game is going to be in contention for goty 08 for sure. i still think its going to go to something more along the lines off littlebigplanet, simply because lbp is awesome and the big part is, its revolutionary.

Simply amazing news. Resistance is the best game that I've ever played. I probably played online more than anyone else here. (3,500 rounds).

Adding Insomniac, Naughty Dog, and Sucker Punch would be a dream come true. I'm happy that they are dedicated 2nd party developers though.

, im seeing a 4 game series. starting with Britian then US then Europe then finally Russia. i was also thinking possibly some sort of invasion in space or a chemarian planet using their technology

No idea. Not a good idea either, if true.

Here's my main gripe about online players of RFOM. For at least Capture The Flag games, change your bloody squad to the same team! Even if you don't speak the language, the concept of teamwork still applies!

Team Deathmatch is the one where changing squad means little.

I doubt that this will be native1080p. I believe this will be in the same resolution as Killzone 2 (720p). Maybe the 3rd addition to this franchise will be 1080p, but they are just starting to use 2 to 3 SPEs in the games coming out in the latter part of 2008.
