Jesus, those covers.

Anyway, day 1 for the individual releases. I really hope studios other than WB eventually pick up the pace with catalog titles of big franchises like this... Fox/Disney stopping at only the first Die Hard and Alien is irritating.

You get my drift. Gah!
Yes sir! I said I only 1&2 but now that it’s official I can’t wait to see those bat nips in 4K. This makes my year. I feel like I’m 9 again waiting to see it in theatres.

Warner has run the Batman character into the ground like Sony with Spider-Man but unlike Sony there's no clear way to reinvigorate it as with Spider-verse or (lol) joining the MCU. IDK, Batman is kinda tired for me now, I'm not foaming at the mouth for this set.

Glad the fans can get what they want though.

Think I'll get Forever first and then the boxset. I could wait for the rest until September but I want Forever asap.

I think I'd kill myself if Batman joined the MCU.

Maybe these will be like Matrix single editions having nice slipcovers and this artwork only used for the inner sleeves?

Someone get this man in contact with WB so they can use his covers instead of their own.

More rereleases with terrible covers, but I'm just going to put the first two movies in my steelbooks anyways. I can't wait to check out the movies in 4K though.

Came here knowing it was the best place to trash this hideous art work. Was not disappointed... Post 3 or 4 kicked it off.

Seriously those covers are vomitous, and they alone make me saddle them into the vault pipeline. Pay half, make rips for storing/viewing, option to borrow the discs from co-owner if or when necessary.

Really glad they will be atmos, of course

Maybe somebody lost a bet and having to make those covers for the official 4K release was a condition if they lost.

Looks like they paid someone on fivverr, who already had a template scheme in place for this to be based from.

This is how you release "anniversary" titles. Batman is celebrating it's 30th, but WB saw fit to release all four films from that era. Not just the first one.

This is what Fox should have done with Die Hard last year for it's 30th...release all five films at the same time. Don't just dangle the first one in front of us and make us wait and wait and wait for the sequels.

Same thing with Alien. I'm ecstatic were getting a 4K UHD of one of the most influential horror scifi masterpieces of all time, but c'mon. It's the 40th Anniversary. Go all out and release all the sequels at the same time. Even though some of the sequels may be considered inferior by some, they certainly have their fan base just like the Batman films and consumers should be given an opportunity complete their collection.

Well done WB. Nice to see you set an example on how to release anniversary films. If only other studios would adopt your marketing plan!
