Entertaining biopic. Chastain is so fun and heartbreaking here. It made me want to watch the doc.

If you haven't seen the original documentary I 100% recommend it, it does a much better job at factually and accurately displaying who Tammy was.

Yes, the original doc is great. Took me from being someone who could careless for her to someone who just wanted to belong and help.

Really enjoyed this biopic. Also saw the documentary of the same title years ago. She was a sweet and gentle soul. Tragic end due to cancer. F#%* cancer

The movie has come and gone. Andrew Garfield has long stopped lying on the press tour. (Not even for this movie, but for the one after.) Can someone please change the f**king thread title?

I'm really bummed this didn't get a 4K disc release. I bought it on iTunes in 4K when it came out, but I totally would still buy it in physical. It's a terrific looking film. But I would feel absolutely stupid buying the regular Blu-ray since I already "own" it digitally in 4K.

This should be an Oscar contender for the hair & makeup and costume design categories. I thought Chastain was good, but most of the performance felt wrapped up in a look and an accent, so it falls a tad short of award-worthy for me. Still, a solidly done, if routine, biopic.

OMG...that song has been in and out of my head for days at a time for months now. I just spontaneously will start singing it, and my hubby just stares at me in fear that I'm serious.

I am so thrilled that she won - it really was the best performance I saw last year, in a few years, in fact - and this movie kind of flew under the radar, so I hope this helps more people seek it out. (And a 4K Blu sure would be nice...)
