I hadn't received a shipping notice so I decided to check my Eureka account. It said the order had been completed. No other info. Well... I just got it in my mailbox today !! (I'm in Canada, btw, for fellow Canadians.)

Mine arrived. Packaging great and image too, as far as I can tell. The booklet has some nice articles. Reviewing the extras on film at the moment.

I did order this from Eureka a couple of days ago, but saw it on EBay just now for £19.95 if anyone wants it a bit cheaper - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/High-Noon...ce38%7Ciid%3A1

Mine arrived today and it’s a beauty. After talk of thin pages I was expecting Gideon Bible thin but no, the book is excellent quality. Never seen it so looking forward to digging into this.

Well if there's one thing I don't agree with the review on, it's the movie's irrelevance as a political piece. Regardless of which way you choose to interpret it, I think it is very much relevant still.

Yeah, I'm glad I didn't get the Signature edition for the longest time. The Eureka disc is lovely in-motion.

I just noticed that this is being reissued as a standard edition on 2 March. The limited edition must have sold out really quickly!

Amazon are showing the standard edition as including the collector's booklet, but presumably that is incorrect.

Nope, all Masters of Cinema releases still include booklets and always have done. Reissued titles just have slimmer booklets (40-page or less) so obviously lose some of the content of the previous Limited Edition booklet.

Think they need to keep below the 40 pages so it can fit within the plastic case, rather than the larger perfect bound books which need an outer box to hold them.

Is this one of the UK discs that can be played in region a players with the menu trick? Not sure if I’m explaining myself

This disc will work on any Region A player with the “top menu” trick (here’s a list of other Eureka titles that’ll do the same if you’re curious: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...4#post17002844).

I really loved the this film, shockingly one of my first ever Westerns a couple of months ago but I've loved exploring the genre further since then. Day of the Outlaw was one I watched and really enjoyed recently. I love these small scale claustrophobic Westerns.

Watch the genre classics, the one's that created the Western genres vernacular. Then stick on Once Upon A Time The West.
