New IP's without major names in it are hard sells, especially for this genre.

Sure, but the combination of effusive professional reviews and the word-of-mouth ones that should’ve spread like wildfire from moviegoers should have sealed the deal for this being the heir apparent to THE MATRIX’s success.

It didn’t have superheros or big explosions in it.

Amazon price has risen; Second Sight's website seems to be the only place left.

Have been waiting for awhile for some of Second Sight LE to drop in price, not especially Upgrade, more In Bruges and others, but doesn't seem ever coming to happen :|

I had checked Amazon before I made my post and it said it was temporarily OOS. Checking now, I may have missed it as it is still OOS.

Thank you for providing something, though!

It is in stock, but only to UK residents (UK shipping address).

Oh no I hope not. Just spent an arm & a leg to get the Second Sight LE of this.

I wonder how many titles Second Sight is going to double-dip on for 4K (like The Changeling).

The thing is, it probably will get a 4K upgrade, as will most things in time, and when it does TDF and sites/people like him will claim it validates their insider info, when in reality they had no clue. Piss at random and at least some will end up in the urinal...

His info comes from a post I made on this site (as does a lot of what he posts). There's a retailer in the US named Bullmoose, that often posts placeholder pages among newer pages. I found one for Upgrade, and so I mentioned it in the Shout Factory thread. I never said it was a sure thing, but of course that's enough for TDF, who is just incredibly desperate to stay relevant.

This is my original post from April 11th

Nothing else around it hints at SF leaks, but it does feel like the kind of title SF would release on 4K, with it being a Blumhouse title distributed by Universal, like the Happy Death Day movies, Freaky, Ouija: Origin of Evil, etc... Anyway, figured I'd mention it, but like always, don't get your hopes up.

(edit: A couple pages before that there was another random page for the Korean film Burning, but sometimes pages represent film title rather than the specific movie, so this could be a possible future page for a 4K of The Burning (1981))
