I had always assumed that Paramount had control over it via the Republic Pictures library. It's always been high on my wish list, what a loony flick. There's a German DVD that's a notch above VHS quality, but it's long overdue for an HD makeover; that Romanian, Full Moon-esque look would really pop.

Just came across a random page for Upgrade (2018) among newer Bullmoose pages. Nothing else around it hints at SF leaks, but it does feel like the kind of title SF would release on 4K, with it being a Blumhouse title distributed by Universal, like the Happy Death Day movies, Freaky, Ouija: Origin of Evil, etc... Anyway, figured I'd mention it, but like always, don't get your hopes up.

(edit: A couple pages before that there was another random page for the Korean film Burning, but sometimes pages represent film title rather than the specific movie, so this could be a possible future page for a 4K of The Burning (1981))

That Dr. Giggles release is also great for those that haven't yet picked it up. Looks and sounds good and the film was much more enjoyable then I remembered. Definite easy recommendation from me on that one.

Playroom is fun and I've been wanting it forever on Blu ray for a while. Surprised you mentioned it, I never hear anyone talk about it.

In the Mouth of Madness has to be almost a lock at this point, right? It's Carpenter, and if WB isn't going to put out Creepshow in 4K, then In the Mouth of Madness has no shot and they might as well license it out to SF since there's already a 4K scan.

The way I see it, if the previous blu-Ray had a 4K Scan, then the chances of an actual 4K Blu-Ray are much higher.

Yeah, that's weird that they're keeping it so limited (1500 copies) given people seem to hoover up any 80s slasher that comes out no matter how boring it is. The first release was only 1200 copies, too! I bet VS or whoever would have had no problem selling 5K of this movie.

SHM is one of the only discs in my huge collection I felt a huge need to sell immediately after watching. I am sorta curious to see the apparently superior sequels, but who knows if we'll get those.
