I thought for some reason KLI said The Last Man on Earth was from a 2K scan, thanks for clarifying! |

Hey everyone, I made a follow up thread to this about Fox titles! Hopefully you can figure out what you need before Disney pulls the plug entirely.

I believe that the most recent round of announcements were for December. There's some speculation in the main Scream Factory thread that the Army of Darkness 4K was alluded to when they mentioned next year they have some "special packaging" coming, explaining the wait.

I'm glad this thread exists to keep a documentation of this. It seems like the MGM titles that Shout has licensed over the years are most tenuous in terms of longevity. For this reason, I try to make sure I grab any MGM-licensed titles they have put out sooner rather than later, because I just assume it will go out of print under my nose.

A lot of MGM deals went OOP/ended last year when they switched their distribution partner from 20th Fox to Warner Bros. That's why so many went out of print. I still get what I want when I can so I don't miss out on any more.

Olive Films’ MGM releases still seem to be in-print for the most part. As we’ve seen, Kino now has been re-releasing titles Shout previously had access to. |
