The only two funny movies I can think of on Blu-ray right now are Simpsons and Wild Hogs. Superbad wasn't really very funny to me.

Dude that movie was racist, but I was dying that was some funny stuff! I thought Superbad was just great! I can just simply relate to many things in the film.

Imo, it wasn't racist.

It was an attempt to mock racist stereotypes. To make you laugh at just how ridiculous those issues really are.

A classic attempt to break down stupid stereotypes.

Why do you think those minorities took those acting jobs? They knew.

Not to mention, check the writing credits:
It was co-written by Richard Pryor--THE bad-@$$ 70's "Live in Concert" Richard Pryor before he went into rehab and did "The Toy"--and Pryor was originally pitched to play Black Bart, but scared the studio into casting a more "mainstream-friendly" actor.

(While Andrew "In-Laws" Bergman contributed the silly plot, Norman Steinberg contributed the ba-dum-ching verbal gags, and Mel Brooks pitched in his trademark jokes:
"What if we rode into town and killed all the male firstborn children?"
"<thinks>...Too Jewish.")

Can't believe I never noticed Richard Pryor's name in the credits before!

For the first time yesterday I delved into the bonus material on Blazing Saddles and watched the pilot for "Black Bart," the TV spinoff...I can see why it didn't make a series. Woefully miscast: Steve Landesberg as the southern deputy Reb Jordan...but maybe it helped him land Barney Miller later that year.

Scary Movie is a modern day classic. Only comedy i have on Blu-ray. It started the trend in terms of movie spoofs. None can match though.
