i have until 5th March to vote, will Spiderman No Way Home be released on disc by then? That's definitely one i want to watch before submitting my list.

Threw in resident evil at 10 just to get an underdog some votes. Shout out to CM Dan the man's and the debt's posts, i'm watching Censor just because of that still.

1. The Snyder Cut

Good looking people in stoic positions within oil painting comic panel aesthetics for four hours will probably be stupidly rewatchable like his other movies are. The cgi and score are the best the played out genre has to offer, Snyder isn't all that interested in the team building exercise as he is with suplexing his fans into his perplexingly dour euphoria you either worship or despise.

2. Dune

For a modern vastly funded film it's a languid tale more painterly and mechanical than Lynch's. Sturdy Batista armed with a machete chopping off heads among palm trees set ablaze is my shit.

3. Army of the Dead

Steak and lobster rolls for drooling regressive buffoons.

4. No Time to Die

Ethereal and dreamy throughout. Sunlight beaming off water and escaping into warm confined spaces, the contrast in corridors, the usage of space and shadows are at times staggeringly beautiful.

5. Don't Look Up

The spoofing of the self-aggrandizing lies of western media, politics and the Neolibs that hold no responsibility to the truth in the wake of self-imposed societal and economical collapse is it.

6. Demon Slayer Movie
7. Malignant

8. Wrath of man

Scummy stylish crimelord throwback fueled by retribution and greed begetting greed.

9. Army of Thieves
10. Resident of Evil

11. Nobody

It might not considering what a runaway success it is. It’s certainly be close cutting.

i guess it'll be the same for Matrix resurrections and The Kings Man, 2 other movies that will no doubt make my list but i doubt i'll get chance to see them before the cut off date due to the discs not being out by then.

I'm impatiently waiting for Drive My Car to be available for streaming. I have a stack of iTunes rentals to go through, and others I'm waiting to become available (Tragedy of Macbeth, Nine Days, etc). This started off as a list that I felt was going to be a bit anorexic, but now I'm excited for the lot of movies I'm catching up on in the coming weeks.

It’s one of my last ones to get to for the same reason, though I think I’m just gonna have to pay rental for it.
