wow, seems like the consensus is that this is worth a blind buy. This purchase will most definitely tell if we share the same tastes in movies! lol

Miami Vice is a great film. I can't recommend enough the need for you to add it to your Blu-ray library.

I bought a used DVD.

It's not an action movie, so don't expect that. Other than the final 2 scenes, I don't recall much action at all.

Other than the real-time boat ride from Miami to Cuba I loved this movie.

The sound of the .50BMG is very nice.

If you like the movie, yes, it warrants a purchase.

It really was an awful movie. I know, owning almost 400 BDs that I have plenty of Bad movies but this movie really does suck. It doesnt offer anything. Little Action, Little Drama, Little Comedy. It has nothing that makes it good.

def worth the price @ $15. The movie has nothing in common with the tv series except for the characters names. The filmmakers went for the gritty drama instead of the comedy, which IMO, pays off. I picked this up (my 2nd BD) @ best buy for 20 something. I agree with whoever said that this movie is one that gets better with multiple viewings.

Make some popcorn, throw Miami Vice in the player and sit back and enjoy.

I love this movie but its your money. I wouldn't recommend it as a blind buy without knowing what you like.

Frigging oath! I nearly shat myself first time I saw it on blu. I think my cat did too.

I have the movie on DVD and rebought it on Blu Ray. Damn it I'm so annoyed at myself, I thought the Blu was the DC so I bought it - from Australia where I live. Then I found out the blu here was the theatrical. So I'm going to have to get it again. I'm just waiting for a bargain price and the aussie dollar to not suck so hard.

Miami Vice was the best movie of 2006. Don't debate it, just go see it unless you like bad movies, in which case The Benchwarmers is available. This film is another reminder why Mann is one of the best directors of this generation.

Time for me to threadcrap. I thought the remake of Miami Vice was horrible all because of the two worst actors in the history of film making (Colin Farrell and Jamie Fox). Does anyone else think Colin Farell looked stupid with the fake mustache?

Nice worst actors in the history of filmmaking. One actor has an Oscar and was nominated for another and the other has had a pretty good career and some pretty good performances. Carry on.

Anyway I hated this film the first time I saw it in the theaters but I rewatched it when it first came on HBO and started to like and eventually bought. This is a very underrated movie.

This movie is garbage. I went to see it in the theater and did what I never done in my life: I walked out of the theater within the 1st 30 minutes. I couldn't take it anymore.

I didn't think Colin Farrell as Crockett was terrible and this is saying something for me because I hadn't liked him in a role up until this point (aside from American Outlaws and Daredevil). I think the mustache was intentional to help separate his character's version from Johnson's.

Jamie Foxx is too smooth. Once again he goes against the grain and plays Tubbs as a pretty serious and badass motherfu**er. I'm sure a lot of people were going into the film expecting some laughs at his expense. Sorry folks.

Prpbably the worst written and acted Michael Mann movie, but still looked awesome on the screen. Not too many extras but I always find his commentaries interesting. I found this in the cheap bin for under $10 and felt it was worth it.
