I believe it's The Hard Part Begins, a 1973 film directed by Paul Lynch (Prom Night) and starring Donnelly Rhodes.

That looks terrific. CIP were probably the best new label of 2022 and I'm looking forward to seeing what they've got planned for 2023. Hopefully some Jean-Pierre Lefebvre or Michel Brault. Or Claude Jutra? (Though I can understand why labels would want to give his films a wide berth)

I'd love to see the Lefebvre's great Les dernières fiançailles and Les fleurs sauvages, and Brault's Les Orders, released on blu-ray.

Agreed.

Unfortunately, I've not been able to see many of Lefebvre's films owing to their general unavailability but I saw this short film/tribute montage on the NFB website many years ago and haven't been able to get some of those images out of my head.

Les Ordres is definitely the Brault film I'd most like to see CIP release, but I'd also like to see Entre la mer et l'eau douce and some of his short films.

You can get Les bons debarras from Filmoption International, with English subs. I have it, but haven't viewed it yet, so I can't comment on quality.

A few days ago, I was racking my brain trying to remember which thread I'd seen that movie poster artwork in (love the colour scheme on it), along with your reply, as I wanted to check the film out. Then just by accident when catching up on some threads since last night, have found the movie poster artwork for Heavenly Bodies (1984), and your reply Bradsdadg. Having checked it out (hadn't heard of it before until seeing the post with the movie poster artwork), I would like to second a Blu-ray release of it.
