I picked up a couple of copies in store. One for me and one for my sister. I am so glad to get this since I missed out on the first one. I enjoyed the movie.

I wonder if this will see a price drop in the near future. That is, if it actually stays in stock long enough. I originally wanted this in steelbook, but missed out on the first round, so I picked up this one. However, I do think the price is just a little steep for a re-release, but oh well! The horror film season is almost upon us, so Universal probably used that to justify the price - well, that and the altered artwork.

Anyways, I noticed a few things with the copies at my local store, but perhaps this is an isolated case. Nearly all the copies had some kind of spine slash underneath the shrinkwrap. Some of them were very faint, though, so no big deal there.

What was more concerning was that all the copies I saw seemed to have a bend/warp to them, like the steelbooks were slightly curved when looking at the spine-side. I assume something heavy might have been placed on them. Thankfully, it's not too noticeable.

Perhaps they even came like this from the manufacturer, so I do wonder if anybody else experienced anything like this.
