My "wow" moment was immediately eclipsed by a crushing "Aw crap, now I gotta buy it again" funk. Such exquisite timing.

![]() I may not favor most of their weird ass crap but they're far from bootleg. I'm not sure how they started but they're not that now, if they ever were. Their care for film restoration is a big thing. For me, it's their big appeal. To see people care about restoring and keeping film history there for the future. Their focus on more exploitative/horror/whatever cinema is their bread and butter. Add in their growth into international cinema. On the USA side, they're bringing in some damn fine Hong Kong films in. They're really getting all over into the Mexican cinema (El Santo!) side too. Point being, they're not in any way bootleg. They're rather amazing. Add in their venture into pornography too. I mean, if you're going to love film history... porn is part of that too. So my fascination w/ that side has just been guided well by their now Mélusine brand. Good on them, hahaha. Last edited by Mr. Chaverria; 04-11-2025 at 02:22 AM. |

Already have the standard VS edition, but I’ll get the IMPRINT release for the documentary - and anything else that’s included.
The television material would be most welcome. If not, the footage should be found within the documentary. |

There’s no way this isn’t exactly what’s happening. In fact, I would expect well higher than $80.

The doc will be on its own bd disc. Said disc will also be the disc that the backers of the doc from 2015 will be receiving.

Everyone adored the VS release when it came out but yet now people are getting rid of it because of a mediocre label like Imprint is releasing it?
People seriously have it out for US labels at this point... |
