If you can ignore the Oscars guff this really is a superb film with Ralphy Fiennes on great form as an aloof and mysterious but captivating lead role, in a very cool epic North African desert setting with bi-planes and stuff.

The more I watch it the more I like it, and a 4K disc will really bring out its epic beauty.

Kristin Scott Thomas in the Criterion Closet too now, after Ralph Fiennes and Juliette Binoche a few months back:

Unless they've already locked their release for this title, I hope they got an interview with her too.

Oh how Call of Duty has fallen from its great beginnings as a PC shooter...

I think it’s a sure thing at this point.

Kristin is a delight.

I don't think there's anything new she's in that she'd be promoting, so I have to assume she's there solely to be included in the extras.

Ah, I saw that movie was from 2023, and figured it was already released years back, but I see now it only got a wider release in August. So, I guess it's possible she won't be included in the extras then.

They got to wait for them to stop filming episodes, unless you want an incomplete set, like some kind of monster!

Would be wonderful news if they do release it in 4k.I was a big fan of The English Patient back in 1996.Was my pick for best picture.Got grief from all my friends saying it was boring but I found it to be a Masterpiece.I still own the original laser disc from Criterion that I have it framed over my Criterion Collection along with 6 others(King Kong,Lawrence of Arabia,Blade Runner,400 Blows,Halloween).R.I.P. Anthony Minghella, you are dearly missed.
