Forgive me for being brutally honest here, but Roger Waters has been milking The Wall for so long that it's become almost a joke. Do something new Roger...please!!!!!!

John
How has he been milking it? The tour he just did was the first time he performed it since the Berlin Wall fell, almost twenty years ago. And he hasn't been milking it enough, since there's no trace of any of the stuff on Blu-ray.

I'd buy it on Blu-ray, and mainly for the animated sequences.

It was awesome to see The Wall's premiere at the the big theater in 1982. I'm ready to experience that in BD !

Does anyone have any words on this?

P.s. Does anyone also know if and or when will Roger Waters' new Wall tour will come to disk (blu)? Saw the south Florida appearance and it blew us away. Best concert I've ever been to and a childhood dream come true. I always wished I'd have been allowed and taken to the 80s tour.

I'm curious when this tour film surfaces too.

Remember that he's working on at least three concert films. He has said he is working on a tour film from The Dark Side Of The Moon Live, that ran from 2006 until 2008. He has also said he wants to release a film from The Wall tour in 1980–1981. And now The Wall Live...

I would love to have this on blu-ray. If the Berlin concert was shot on film, I'd love to have that as well.

I have been waiting for this to hit Blu-Ray for years. It is the perfect film to experience on Blu-Ray. The soundtrack with lossless audio should be killer.

Sadly, the Berlin concert was shot with video cameras. But I'd buy it for the sound.

Tomorrow I'll experience The Wall in Arnhem, Holland! I've waited for over a year to attend a show on this tour! It has to be great, I'll travel all the way from Norway just for the concert!

Well, the concert film The Wall – Live in Berlin with Roger Waters, was cancelled on BD. At least we get a concert film from Roger Waters' The Wall Live 2010–2011 tour on BD! The show 8 July 2011 in Athens will be filmed! (http://www.brain-damage.co.uk/latest...announced.html)

James Guthrie: "My understanding is that EMI plan to stick to their release schedule for the 'Why Pink Floyd?' campaign, which means there wouldn't be time to include a 5.1 mix in 'The Wall' Immersion Box. I will be doing a 5.1 mix of The Wall for release on SACD, but we don't have a planned release date for that yet..." "...I'm currently working on a Blu-ray release of 'The Wall' Movie."

I'm seeing quite a few copies of a blu ray release of Pink Floyd The Wall movie on that big auction web site.

Has there been a foreign release? The photos look like legitimate sealed cases. However the back cover says it is BD25 and AC3 5.1 sound, which doesn't seem consistent with current releases.

Most likely European bootlegs - check if there are any MGM logos on the box. MGM hasn't held the rights to The Wall for over 10 years, but bootleggers don't do that much research. Legit copies would now be from Sony.

Well as a matter of fact both have the MGM logo. When you say bootlegs are they legitimate? Or has someone just dropped the DVD version onto a BD25 and calling it a blu-ray?

And when is the legitimate release coming out?!?

I am with you there.

This, along with the Cell (not counting the feature only Canadian version) and perhaps One Hour Photo are the only films I liked that ain't on BD yet.
