Reading that hurt my head... All it sounded like was that he was mad that he couldn't pirate his movies, but yet he still wanted to say that Blu-Ray costs more. I don't think I've paid $29.99 for a title since I've joined Amazon Prime. Even if I didn't join Amazon Prime, the prices still would rarely be that high. So lets look at Walk Hard. 2 Disc DVD set, $22.99. Blu-Ray with exclusive features, $24.75 or close to it when I ordered it on Amazon and got it the day it came out. I'm sorry, but I don't see his complaint. He obviously hasn't done enough research yet which I realized when he said BD Live lets them install software on your player and get information from you that will hurt you.

If your head hadn't started hurting you, you might have noticed how he was talking UP HD DVD.

Me thinks research wasn't the reason for the rant... or maybe it was considering he had HD DVD.

Sounds to me like you need to do a blind A-B comparison between level-matched PCM and TrueHD.

There is a difference. PCM has much more sound detail and clarity. It is more clear too!

It is sad that there was all this talk of PCM audio, but many of the blu-rays don't haved it.

If you have the proper audio equipment, you can easily tell the difference.
