Just watched my Scream Factory Collectors Edition BD. I really enjoyed the warmer transfer and mono mix and the Worlds End documentary was the icing on the cake...

Holy crap the book looks WAY more in depth then I expected it to be...awesome. I was expecting some kind of half assed pop up book. The author Lee Karr deserves major props. He really did write this for the true fans of this film.

Yes, apart from the pumped up colours and poor compression, it is the best looking.

Yep, to my eyes the Arrow looks like the same master as the AB but stretched to 1.78 and encoded anew, natch.

Just finished Lee Karr's book, it's excellent. Mr Karr's prose is functional but it doesn't need to be anything more as the book is a treasure trove of recollections and anecdotes about Day, and it's got a section about Romero's legendary original script. The detailed story outline doesn't quite live up to the 'Raiders of the Lost Ark with zombies' angle that everyone refers to it as, but it sounds like a crazy movie nonetheless.
