What a game for the Caps last night.

It was awesome to watch the 'Nucks get spanked and their 'captain' get benched for the 3rd period. 10 whole shots on goal. Are you kidding me!

Should be an awesome game , considering the playoffs last year went to 7 games. Ryder will be pissed and look to score goals against the HABS and the bruins should want to prove something as well. Don't spoil our home opener!!!

Be happy you at least left Montreal with a point. Horrible night for the refs tonight for both sides, bell centre needs to keep their act together when they have a board sticking out like that could have cost them the game, NOT GOOD. A lot of missed opportunities on our sides. At least we still won the game but still , i don't like that we gave away a point like that

Felt like a playoff hockey game though, and only the 4th game of the season. Man i love hockey !!! :P

Sucks they fired Savard already. He had no team last year and did well enough to bring hockey back to Chicago essentially and after 4 games he gets fired.

Just some random thoughts about the Bruins....

No year will be the Bruins' year while Jacobs is still the owner.

Just when I thought I couldn't hate him enough he ultimately traded my favorite P-Bruin prospect away.(Pascal Pelletier).

If Rask isn't the starting goaltender by mid-season....

This is why I'm now a Caps fan.

A great win saddened by what I thought was a dirty hit or borderline hit on Kostitsyn. I know he's tall but on the replay you can see he pushes his elbow into his face. I'm pretty pissed.

What a joke penalty on the Rangers for too many men on the ice which gave Detroit a PP and scored the tying goal and then won 23 seconds into OT. Grrrrrr.

no need to cry... if the Rangers followed the rules... they wouldnt of been penalized...

Whats your take on Ozzie this year? I used to HATE him with a passion...until last year where he was simply AMAZING. He has been a bit shaky to start and Conklin looked very impressive in his start.

So you're ignoring the replay footage that showed only 5 guys on the ice making it a bogus call and one that tied the game.

i was never a huge Ozzie fan...

i always liked him... but he became one of my faves when he came back to Detroit...

that being said... i despise Hasek and im glad Ozzie won us the Cup... i hated Hasek ever since he decided to come back when we had Joseph, granted Joseph was horrible... just a bad situation w/ Hasek...

Looks like my Wings are back in top form after beating an undefeated St. Louis last night. Holmstrom has scored a goal in 5 straight games!

Conklin's performance was dissappointing though. He let in 3 goals on only 21 shots?
