idk if this was brought up yet but... the text in the email was WRONG! only subscribers can download the Home beta... and you had to be a subscriber BEFORE the 29th. so there you go, dont spend 3 dollars on another useless Qore episode for non qore subscribers.

Just FYI for those that were getting their hopes up about buying Ep6 to get invite:

As an update to the PLAYSTATION(R)3 News email sent on Friday, October 24th, the special invitation to PlayStation(R)Home's closed beta is available only to Qore annual subscribers who purchased subscriptions by 10/29. Qore Episode 06 purchasers will not be eligible for the special PlayStation(R)Home beta invitation at this time. We apologize for the miscommunication.

I got the same email from Playstation Underground... Wonder how many people bought the one time just for the beta? Because the original email did say that you only had to buy the one not the subscription.

I think pretty much everyone with a PS3 got this. I didnt buy Ep6 but I still got the email.

Just be glad it's free, and do with the flow

The $50 thing is only about $4 a month, hardly a big difference in any gamer's budget (if it is, stop buying games and take care of yourself).

Just because something is free doesn't mean you check your comments, expectations or intelligence at the door.

At the end of the day, the issue isn't Home or a free network, it's the poor communication, false promises and being jerked around that gets on one's nerves. It was last fall, then spring, then summer then this fall, then open beta, then closed beta, then buying this to get in, then not buying this but buying that, then . . .

Personally, I'd rather they say nothing.

Bunch of whiners there. I don't visit it anymore because 100% of the threads were about complaining rather than the game itself. I did finally locate one thread with some tips. It was like mining for gold.

I'd argue that the pro whiners are usually:

1. Kids

2. "Adult" males who still have kid brains or no lives and play games far too much.
