Default Exclusive Far Cry 2 space in Home Beta

http://www.thehdroom.com/news/Far_Cr..._Included/3619

Quote:
Far Cry 2 First 3rd Party Game Live in PS3 Home Beta, Screens Included
October 16, 2008

Ubisoft has announced Far Cry 2 is the first Playstation 3 third party game to have its own "space" appear in the Playstation Home beta program.

The space will allow the exploration of missions and characters, and consists of "a multiplayer game of Mancala that will use bullets as game pieces, the opportunity to explore in-game environments including a bombed-out train station that has been turned into an ad hoc café, as well as the ability to launch the game directly from the PlayStation Home space."

Moving forward, Ubisoft will continue to expand and evolve the space with new interactive features and functions.

Check out five new screens snapped from the live space in the Playstation 3 Home beta below.

When you know that SCE signed 24 compagnies or more to have such spaces (including Capcom for RE5 I think), Starting to look good on the gaming side this "Home"

Ill download the room when I get home... I saw that on ps3 fanboy and almost croaked, then I went to the home beta forums and croaked.

Then I kept reading and went into a infinite loop of croaking followed by me hitting terminal velocity and exploding...

I was going to put this up but I kept fighting over putting it on the home thread or creating a new thread I kept fighting over it in my mind.. and then gave up... for I lost.

You know, if they do this right this would be a good PR too to combat the extra DLC 360 games get.

Id rather have something like this that I can appreciate while the game is hot, Instead of DLC months down the line when the game is all but forgotten.

Still...

Couldn't they have spent all that time making some real DLC for the PS3?

I mean, let's be realistic... We will probably never see Home. It's never coming out. Why waste the effort?

LOL

What I notice, is that this game comes out tomorrow....people will be done and gone with this title before we even get a glimpse of Home!!!

Sony needs to quit releasing info about Home and fricking finish it already...

Is not like they are not trying, remember Home is free, probable they have other priorities that will generate income for them Home is not system seller app. The idea is nice, but I got bored quick. Another thing the Far Cry space is not as impressive as the Uncharted one

I'd argue against that actually. People still don't seem to understand what home is, what they're getting. Recently comparisons have been made to a Mii-clone so it's worth reminding gamers that home isn't that.
