*Looks at option number 3. *

Wow, a thread made when saying "Netflix" still meant renting discs.

I rent discs from Netflix, buy discs and, well, other. Never go to the cinema, as it's an inferior experience, and never stream either. Too many disappointments with streaming quality and buffering, even on a good connection.

Where I live we no longer have any video rental stores which sucks! They all went out of business. I only have an high def antenna, so I can't rent movies by streaming. I just go to the theater or buy movies on amazon or Best Buy, Super Target ect...

I'd go to the movie theater more often if it wasn't so damn exspensive. I will go if it is a blockbuster type movie though.

Mostly just discs. I'll go to the theater for something like Scream or stream something that's only on streaming like Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Otherwise if there's a disc option that's what I'll go with. Not really into comic book, Hollywood big budget stuff, big name actors, or anything like that so its old stuff or low budget stuff for me.

Before Covid I was like:
33% theaters
33% buying
33% stuff from my library
1% streaming

Now I'm like:
90% buying
8% library
2% theaters

I haven't been to the theater since the turd The Rise Of Skywalker and I don't rent/stream. I just buy discs now and I have gotten really picky of what I do buy now.

I watch new movies in theaters regularly and also watch movies on some internet channels like Tubi TV, but the poll left out buying disc movies, of which I have a thousand or so.

Stoned or with a little beer buzz. In a pinch, sober.

My GF and I are AMC A-List members. We see something in theater at least once a week. So that's my go-to for new movies.

Second would be disc. I tend to buy movies I like, and I have most of my favorites on BD / UHD / DVD. I also own a lot on digital, mostly from redeeming codes, but I see it as more of a backup. First choice for revisiting something is disc.

I use streaming for the few TV shows I watch, and catching up on older movies I either haven't seen, or that haven't made it into the physical collection.

I'm a collector of physical media so yeah I buy movies, but also go to the cinema for movies I deem worth experiencing at the cinema.
