Digi Book, I wonder what this means for my order I placed like 6 months ago when WHV had it as a $19.95 regular release

I hope they don't try and pull some BS and cancel the remainder of my order.

This will be my lone exception to my anti digibook stance. December 2, 2008 is fine by me.

You could order the UK release, which already has been released. With a Dolby Digital track instead of the US Dolby True HD or the French DTS HD MA tracks.

I love this movie, but I don't purchase Warner Bros. Blu-Rays until after the reviews say it's "safe". The exception to this rule will be The Dark Knight.

I watched the Japanese release last night, which is exactly the same as the US release. The Dolby TrueHD track is great, and the picture is good. Definitely not disappointed with what I saw. The film still holds up as one of the greatest films of all time, and the extras detail in the Blu-ray release really gives the film a more gritty look that adds to the overall feeling. In short I loved it!

Plus, its not a digibook. Woohoo!

I'm sure there are going to be plenty of people who will bash the video transfer - there is some EE going on - but its definitely a nice release. It won't drop your draw, but its definitely high definition quality. You will enjoy.
