This center would love the 80hz crossosver. Timbre matching is very critical in a HT system. I would also advise you to take the Infinty speakers out of the cubby and give them a little room to breathe their magic into the room. You know my number give me a holla back.
Ok guys, I am getting the beast of a center recommended by prerich above. I am going to try to get a factory remanufactured one from the Harmony (Infinity) direct ebay store, since it comes with a 1 year warranty and is significantly cheaper than a new one.

The problem is its size. I will not be able to put it on any shelf on my current stand. So, what do you all think of the following options?

1. Buy a new stand - I want to, but can't afford it right now)

2. Put it on the same shelf as the actual TV - The problem with this is that TV measures 5" from the shelf to the bottom of the screen and the center is almost 8" tall. I would somehow have to raise the TV 3" to make this work.

3. Put it on the open archway shelf above the TV (see gallery) - The porblem with this is it could be too high up and it is a thick shelf.

4. Other? Please enlighten me.

would it fit on the stand if you put some components in the "open area" above the T.V. ??? I'd probably go with speaker in the open area if all else fails....

I know with kids, I'd try to put my components up there, and run wire-moldings down the side wall to hid the wires..... could look sleek.

I'd still move the sub out of there though so you can spread out the L/R

It will only fit on the bottom shelf, but then I would have to move my AVR completely out, since the AVR won't fit on the shelf above.

I haven't updated my gallery, but I swapped the right main and the sub and brought the mains out flush with the opening of the niche and toe'd them in a bit. I am still thinking of moving the sub completley out of the niche, maybe near the actual main listening position.
