Just to let everyone know, this is thursday and I just checked on sony's website and there is no 2.0 update yet so unless the update will be up tonight, thursday will not be the day.

All the demo's, trailers, and usual weekly releases usually hit the US Store at around 5pm EST, so we got about an hour to go to see what our updates will be for sure.

Although Japan usually gets their firmware updates a couple hours before we do, so if it was going to happen, I think we'd have heard about it already.

Here's to hoping for some good trailers and demos!

Don't expect much content this week. Rampage will be up as well as a video for Joust (next week's game) and a trailer for Knocked Up.

I'll be checking the IGN website tonight. If the 2.0 update is available tonight, the IGN website will mention it. If the 2.0 update is available for tonight, I'll let everyone know about it.

The playstation store was just updated. Only 2 things, pretty poor.

I'm feeling like there wont be an update coming? That would be disappointing.

plz do not call it an issue as much as an lack of feature. and no i believe and other too that sony is wanting developers to not just program in 720p then upscale to 1080p or something stupid like that.

Food for thought also. If they upscale to 1080p, non BD buyers will be less likely to begin to buy blu-ray. they will be more than impressed and content with upscaled dvds and see no reason to switch up to blu. also there will be the uneducated who believe the quality is the same because it is upscaled 1080p.

I just checked on both sony's website at us.playstation.com and the ign website at ps3.ign.com and there no 2.0 update or anything about a 2.0 update. It's 5:20 pm right now on the west coast.

One thing mentioned from another site said it would be by the end of this week, but there were other things mentioned that were false. Other than that, I'm not sure what to think. All this hype got me really really excited, and I will be pretty disappointed if there is no update.

I'm pretty sure that there will be another update sometime. We just don't know when. I was afraid that there would be a rumor about the next update and it would get everyone hyped up about the next update which isn't here yet. Rumors come and go.

I might have known that the 2.0 update was a big rumor.
