haha....that didnt last very long did it? I remember in 99 when Marvel brought Norman Osborn back after like 25-30 years....that was a pretty gutsy move. Bringing Steve back after several years is kinda lame.

They were bound to bring Steve Rogers back, sometime it take 2 years sometime more.DC comics is doing the same thing with Bruce Wayne now...so this in nothing strange to the comic book world.

Bruce Wayne died? Or they are about to kill him?

Apparently he is already dead. There has been a series out called "Battle for the Cowl" I believe. I haven't read it, but I'm not sure if that is the one on his return. I'm sure someone can list the correct one if I'm wrong.

Wow I had no idea, now that you said that I remember seeing that title but never paid much attention to it.

He's a good actor! I liked him in The Hitcher alongside Sophia Bush.

Yes, he's dead. Tim Drake has taken the Batmantle with Damian Wayne as Robin. A new comic series with them just started. Since Bruce is just gone, they won't bring him back that soon.

And I'm surprised Marvel is already bringing Steve back. Feels a bit too early. But it's fine with me.

He isn't dead, he was transported to the past (or something like that), as shown at the end of Final Crisis.

He's kind of old but he's a really great actor. They'll probably hire some unknown guy though.

I think he looks the part, and is a good actor. BUT, the key thing about casting a character like this is whether or not he's likeable. Imagine Christian Bale being cast as Iron Man. It would've been a completely different movie, and not nearly as fun, because Rob Downey Jr. is awesome in that role because he's very likeable.

So when I've seen Neal McDonough in movies like Walking Tall, The Guardian, The Hitcher, etc... he wasn't a super like-able character ya know? I just am not sure he would make an entertaining Captain America

Same thing with Alexander Skaarsgard recently, he was almost the perfect looking candidate for being cast as Thor. But, when they announced Chris Hemsworth, I immediately liked that choice a bit better, even though he didn't immediately look the part, I can way see him play a more likeable Thor than the Skaarsgard

Marvel is really thinking things through on the movie side of things. They are saying that the casting announcement will take place in one of the Captain America storied coming up (interesting - I would think the decision may have been made already).

As for Steve Rogers, they need to bring him back before the movie. The movie and the comic will capitalize on each other and they need to be on the same wave length by the time the movie is released.
