the writing is just so subtle and so funny!!!

the writers also have a gift for being able to combine any two of the characters and make it fantastic, i could list them all, but it would take all day

personal favorites though are when lily lived with barney for a few days in season 2 and she pretended to be his wife to scare off women he slept with

marshall and robin in the little minnesota epsode

robin and lily in the woo girl episode

march madness is great though for the whole group, and so is the best burger in new york with regis!

Another FANTASTIC episode. Stripper Lily ftw! Marshall and Barney kept me laughing the entire time.

Good episode, but so far this year I'm annoyed by Marshall and Robin is distractingly unattractive.

watched it half-assed last night w/the MNF pre-game on and all....will watch it on hulu 2nite along w/big bang theory.

Marshall annoys me a little too! But other than that love the show. Season 4 is a little less than par compared to the other season.

Agreed. When Robin originally said she was going to break open the briefcase I thought we were going to find out what Barney does for a living.

You know, I see what you're saying. I love Marshall still and find him hilarious, but he has gotten more wackier as the show has progressed.

Now that you say this I do agree he's become a bit strange in the last 15-20 episodes. I did not pick up on it but when you mention it you are quite right. I still find him funny but they seem to have made changes to the character for some reason

true, it might be that they want his character to be more pronounced so that people know hes there to try and pick up more viewers from fans of his films, i havent really noticed it, but ill make sure to look for it when im watching
