Yep, it doesn't really help that the addendum comes from one of their main "HDR10 sucks!" guys anyway. Pffffft.

Is the BD-50 disc in this 4K UHD set the same disc as the one in the "Mastered in 4K" version.? Thanks in advance!

Sony slips are particularly worthless to me because they have the same imagery front and back and they're just flat cardboard.

the cover does look nice with the black case, but still, it's part of the packaging and it's a very recent release, so I was surprised

Anyone have any idea why there's no info on the UK release of 5th element or Leon yet?

Both U.S releases are from Sony who spent the time and effort to remaster both titles in 4K. Fifth Element is distributed in U.K by Pathe through 20th Century Fox and Leon appears to currently be with Studio Canal. Both studios would have to either make their own 4K remaster or try to licence the masters from Sony which seems unlikely (the remastered in 4K Sony blu-rays never got licensed out to anyone else)

You need to buy most Sony releases in the first week to get a slip. They disappear that quick.

I got this recently as an Amazon pre-order (awaiting stock replenishment) and also got no slip-cover. However, as that precludes me having to complain about yet another Amazon or transit damaged slip!

Oh be careful about abundant returns; once you hit an undefined return rate (people claim 10%-20%, or possibly more than two items a month), Amazon may close your account.

Hasn't happened to me as I've made two returns in the past five years but be wary if you don't make many purchases and have returned/replaced a good number of them.

You had to work in another of your Blade Runner artwork thingies in the background, didn't you Velvet? I still love that Rachael one you showed off that other time, what was it called? 'I am the business'?
