Damn, I should have read the product page more carefully before I ordered it! That sucks. (Thanks for pointing it out, by the way!)

WOW! Smile has to be one of the best restorations presented on Blu-ray that I’ve seen this year. The film looked stunning. An outstanding release all around.

It is a campy film for sure.

Interested in the VS sale. Are the prices listed the “sale” price, or is there a code that brings the prices further down?

Those are the sale prices. Starting with Satan's Blood everything is 50% off msrp. Hitcher in the Dark, The Fear, and Forgotten Gialli Volume 3 are slightly discounted.

Re-edited my post. 50% off msrp starts with Satan's Blood, not Satan's Slave.

Prices listed are the sale price. Jeremy, I Start Counting and Alphabet City are 50% off MSRP at 17.49. Smile is 24.99 being a more recent title.

Do y'all think Smile LE will survive until the next sale or would it just be foolish to wait?

It probably won’t survive to July, to be honest. 517 copies left as of right now. Yeah, it won’t last.

It’s possible, but with so few copies left, I doubt it. If it does survive til Black Friday, it’ll be one of the titles that goes in the first few minutes of the sale.

Thanks -- this is what I was thinking might happen based on the numbers remaining so I ended up grabbing it before the end of the sale. I'm almost certain it'll be gone before BF.

I just started watching Walking the Edge, anyone else notice a flash of black around 7:34 into the film?

Per our partner and distributor Vinegar Syndrome / OCN Digital, concerning the new WALKING THE EDGE disc:

We have noticed a dropped frame at 07:34 on the Fun City Editions release of WALKING THE EDGE. This was an issue inherent in the authoring process and, as such, we will be issuing replacement discs. This will also allow us to correct the missing English SDH track. If you have already purchased WALKING THE EDGE, you don't need to do anything. Replacement discs will automatically ship once they arrive. We appreciate your understanding and patience. Thank you!

Thrilled to see that replacement discs will be issued as I actually emailed VS directly once I started watching my disc last week. Was bummed to see the dropped frame and lack of subs.

Glad to hear about the replacement discs.

I just picked up Jeremy, Smile and Walking The Edge during the Halfway To Black Friday sale, bringing my FCE collection fully up to date.

So Walking the Edge is missing a frame? I'm assuming it just skips that second and then everything is fine?

I didn’t even notice it, honestly. I’m happy about the replacement simply for subtitles though.

Two titles that I feel that would be perfect for the Fun City Editions line are: 'Kenny & Company' and 'Last Night at the Alamo' (1983).

jah13 if you're reading this, please pass on the message. Thanks!
