I remember someone (Josh?) asking about running a 29 tonight. If so, I'll run a 30, assuming all goes as planned with leveling when I get home this afternoon. If not, I may want to run my Titan in hopes of getting a chest or helmet.

I'll be honest; the news yesterday kinda rubbed me the wrong way. Don't think I can go through the grind again with all my characters, and I love my legendary weapons. The only way to make this work for me is to slim down and work one character. I've already deleted the Warlock and, if it weren't for the hard raid tonight (with an awesome group of guys), the Titan would be gone as well.

Nah, I will be 30 tonight and 29 tomorrow and Sunday. I can use the 30 Sunday too if we have too many 29's so no big deal.

Casey I would be up for a Hard Raid tonight. I emailed Benny and he wanted to see if we could do it around 8:30ish cst? We both have Xmas concerts for the kids tonight starting at 6:00.

I'm wondering why they couldn't have implemented this for the VoG at some point? Who was it in our Tuesday normal raid that said they have done the raid 20+ times and have yet to get a chest piece? I think it was Casual, maybe?

I would be fine with real random, not this crap they have now. The VOG is NOT random, they have some kind of crappy system in place that is/isn't working like it should. If it was truly random, what are the odds you would get 7+ of one item and none of the other? I would think that would be unusual, but it's not, it's more the norm. Bungie loves their statistics and I have zero doubt that they use this information to manipulate things......

Me too because I can accumulate strange coins and get new weapons. I even like the Daily now because I get 16 materials for upgrade.

As a matter of fact, I've never played Nightfall on my own yet. I like to rely with these folks here.

I wish I could commit to something a little more regular w/the guys on here each week…..about the most I can commit to is a raid run each week.

Otherwise it’s usually me & Kyle running the nightfall w/a buddy of mine or my little brother each week.

They need to do something with the VoG RNG. In the past 5 or so raids I've done, all I've gotten and shards and energies. Oh and the ever elusive Chatterwhite!

The only ones I've never solo'd are Winter's Run and Cerberus Vae. Aksor and Valus Taurc. Nexus is easy, Summoning Pits is easy, Devil's Lair too.

I will note I have never received a good reward from soloing them. My best Nightfall rewards came from doing them in groups of 3.

I got my 1st decent reward the other night for doing the weekly…..i got an exotic helm for my warlock.

We did the nightfall right before that….i got 2 shards.

I play 2-3 hours after work in the evening. Raid at least twice a week, but will be 3x once I get my Titan up to par.

I barely game on Friday/Saturday, and majority of the day Sunday.

Sunday night, and Monday. I can play up to 5 hours if there's nothing going on.

I think if there was no Destiny, my PS4 time would be reduced to maybe 1 hour a day?

I'm on vacation after today, and we have nothing planned so I'm sure I'll be bumming it at home playing this game.

I told the wife that I would watch movies with her tonight. BUT, if im on, I will raid with someone.

As far as Exotic upgrading: I will probably only upgrade my Ice Breakers and Chest armors. You can only have one Exotic weapon and armor on at a time. IB and double Chest armor arm my goto's. I will wait on New raid weapons to upgrade. Does anyone know if they will be Exotic?

I do have what I think is a funny story from last night.

I went to run a Tiger Strike with my 26 Warlock and got Dust Palace with the Flayers. I hate those damn things. I was using the Thorn and it has the Mark of the Devourer so I was able to shoot through the Phalanx shields. I was in the chat so I could hear the other guys. The one guy was freaking out and saying that I was using a hacked gun because the enemies would turn green after I shot them and he was going to report me. Then he left after we were at the Flayers and get got downed 3 times in a row and I revived him.

Once I’m done w/these house projects I’ll be able to play more consistently…..but I’d like to start going back to the gym 2x a week.

And my wife has been pretty understanding w/how much I’ve been gaming…..up until about 6 months ago, I hadn’t touched a game for close to a year.

She usually falls asleep on the couch Friday and Saturday nights…..if that happens I’ll usually play until about 2 in the morning.

Otherwise I play Tuesday nights every week and then sporadically the rest of the week.
