Let's try this again.

At first the mods were ready to give this thread a long vacation but then decided it would be better to just give the time off to one individual whose mind-numbingly long-winded and insensitive posts have done nothing but throw gasoline onto the dumpster fire.

What was posted on DF's Facebook is appalling. No way that sentiment gets tolerated here.

No one can blame our members for being riled up about such a callous mixing of real world events with Blu-ray marketing. Everyone please move on. The Facebook post is deleted, someone got a long time out, and I hope a certain label owner is aware of how his behavior crossed a line.

he's trying to go tribal. to all the sociopaths on his facebook who LOLed or didn't immediately condemn the previous post about the shooting, those people with actual empathy and decorum will be made the enemy and the reason the release got pulled. "blame the snowflakes," etc.

i can't wait to see this awful business crash and burn, because it's definitely going to happen.

German releases are often so cheap, even with international postage, that the money US buyers can save by purchasing them will quickly pay for an all-region Blu-ray player.

I have an all-region player and get exclusive Blu-rays from the UK, Germany, and France for as little as $6 each including international postage. The forces of darkness must be at work here, eh?
