Blake Lively who plays Ryan Reynolds' love interest, Carol Ferris, was on hand to present the Spike Scream award for "Most Anticipated Movie", beating out the three upcoming Marvel Studios superhero films, Captain America, Thor, and The Avengers. Ryan arrived in style, rocking the "Hal Jordan" look, bathed in green light and riding an enormous recreation of his Power Battery, the lantern-shaped devices that the intergalactic space cops are known for carrying. This appears to be a first look at the film adaptation's version of the classic superhero accessory.
Comic book writer and current Green Lantern scribe Geoff Johns was also on-hand and won the Scream award for "Best Comic Book Writer", he was up against Jason Aaron, Darwyn Cooke, Garth Ennis, Robert Kirkman and Mike Mignola. This is Geoff Johns' second Spike Scream award win in the Comic Book Writer category. The Scream awards will be airing on Spike TV this Tuesday evening at 9pm Pacific/8pm Central.

Yeah I just re-read Green Lantern Rebirth, and I hope they have something reminiscent of the fight scene between Hal Jordan and Sinestro where they are fighting and knocking each other all around the solar system.
so how is this going to work isnt harry potter not in 3d now but gl is in 3d ? I cant see that happening so this trailer must just be in 2d right ?
I would assume that is exactly right. The trailer will be in 2-D. remember not eveery showing of movies that are in 3-D are shown in 3-D. Avatar played on plenty of screens in 2-D, as will Gren Lantern.
