Yep, I agreed. The Cs didn't do anything too special in the 1st qtr, but y'all kept missing open look. I counted at least 3 open looks that Manu missed. All in all, the starters need to look at how D.Blair is playing and learn from him. He is about the ONLY Spur who plays with any sort of intensity and energy right now.

No argument here. I was thinking before the game, Dejuan is a regular season player because of his size. He's not big enough for the Celtics or Lakers-type teams but he's doing well here. Except for that tip-in he had for the C's. I hope that doesn't come back to haunt us.

True, Blair is not "big" enough, especially when he is standing next to guys like Sheed, but did you see what happened when he was guarding Sheed? Blair's got some quick foot works to match up against him, and Sheed kept missing shots as a result!!!

Honestly, if Sheed was missing around Blair, it was because of Sheed. If Sheed wants to shoot over someone, that someone isn't going to get to that shot. He's proved that over the years so you're going to have to explain how DeJuan has hindered Sheed's progress please...

The Nets wish they were playing us tonight. They just might have gotten that first win. 11 points isn't insurmountable if we'd make some effin' FT's and stop turning the ball over!

That's what makes me so angry about Roger Mason sometimes. He forgets he has teammates.

Well, we played a good fourth quarter but couldn't overcome the first three's mistakes. At least we didn't get blown out.

No, I won't blame Mason in this 4th qtr. You have been down all game long, and his sole purpose out there is to shoot long range jumpers to try to catch up. Again, the entire Spurs' outside shooting tonight is as cold as a roadkill on the side of I-10 tonight... if not for the Beast, this game would've been over by the middle of the 3rd. Oh well...

Duncan is looking so old and lethargic these days....its sad. I remember when this guy was catching alleys from Avery Johnson in the '99 Finals. I'm getting old.

Knicks and Bulls talking trade. Jerome James (VOMIT) and Ty Thomas for Harrington. I'd do it in a heartbeat. Anything to be rid of Harrington's low b-ball IQ having ass. I'm hoping we can throw in Jefferie's contract in there as well.

In all fairness, TD didn't look THAT old in tonight's game. What killed them were those little things like TOs, missed FTs and not knocking down those opening shots. Sure, they didn't play like a title contender tonight, but if they didn't miss that many FTs or turned the ball over so many times; the result could have been the other way around and, everyone would say things like "experience saved the Spurs tonight" or some shit like that.

Call me a homer if you like but how many times can you say a guy is looking old yet he gets 16 and 15? Also, I would've liked to have won but considering all that we tried to hinder our own selves, the end result was closer than what I'd thought it would be.

Did you happen to see Marquis Daniels' 2 points in the first half? He scored without touching the ball by being the closest Celt to the basket (when a Spur knocked it in attempting a rebound). I didn't know how that rule worked until last night, it's been a long time since I've seen that happen for some reason!

Quit showing off, man, we all know y'all won... JUST KIDDING!!!

I knew about that rule all along, but you are right; I can't recall the last time I saw that happened. Having said that, in Shawn Marion's rookie season, I think that game was against the Rockets; he thought he got a steal at the start of the 3rd and began gunning for the hoop... the crowd went crazy (they were really saying "oh no") and he stopped himself JUST before he took off for a dunk... good thing he finally realized it was their own basket. It was funny...

And you know what? As terrible as the Knicks' record might seem, you guys are only 3 games back behind the Bobcats for the #8 seed out east. Hey, as long as you guys start playing some serious ball from here and on out, making the playoffs is somewhat possible.
