well we did get lucky, i agree with that part. but we converted the PKs and van der sar made the winning save. so to say we don't 'deserve' to win is a bit much.

Villa are on a real downward spiral. I haven't seen a team lose form like this in ages. Maybe O'Neil needs to buy a bigger squad in the summer, playing just 19 player all season can't be good for fitness. It really does seem like you guys have run out of steam at this point.

At least a Europa League place is all but confirmed...

Yeah.. villa were really poor liverpool had so much space!

Hard to take yesterday.. once chance and we blew it.. the lane seems to be a tough place for us now a days.

Have to say I was still happy to see united lose.. saw Ray Lewington (Fulhams assistant manager) in the pub last night.. and just had to shake his hand

He's a regular

Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka faces a three-week spell on the sidelines because of a toe injury, according to the French Football Federation.
Anelka, 30, played the full 90 minutes of Chelsea's 1-0 Premier League defeat at Tottenham on Saturday.
He was assessed by the France squad's medics before being replaced for the World Cup qualifiers with Lithuania.
Chelsea have yet to comment but Anelka may miss the games against Newcastle on 4 April and Liverpool on 8 April.

bad weekend for me. man u lost. ac milan drew. everton lost. wow.

grats to all the winners this week. i still see liverpool/chelsea/man u dropping points here and there til the end of the season so hopefully the small lead is good enough. great win for spurs.

i don't support everton per say. i enjoy watching their games and want them to do well whenever they aren't playing man u. i enjoy watching liverpool/chelsea/arsenal games too for the technically skilled players but i very much hate the teams and don't want them to do well in comparison to man u.

Just back from the match, excellent weekend, drunk every night, ireland winning the rugby, united dropping points, watching rooney jog off the pitch, chelsea dropping points and us winning our match. Completely lost the voice from the match the the songs in the park bar across the road from anfield all evening. The "wayne rooney, fat granny shagger, fattttttt granny shagggggggger"(song started when it shown rooney running off on tv) is a legend haha.

Im off to bed now for much needed sleep as 6oclock for work comes early. Hope Villa get back on form and do us a big favour.

I think it would be a good idea to have gerrard playing in behind rooney the same way he does with torres and have lampard paired with barry in midfield. Whats all the fuss about ledley king, havent had a chance to read up on it but im guessing its something to do with him playing games for tottenham and tottenham claiming he is injured to play for his country or something??

Alright man, sorry missed this post. Yep.. delighted for Brad, you could see there was no intention on his part.

BUT will it make a difference?? We NEVER get anything up at Old Trafford.

But, no Rooney, Vidic, Scholes and Berba might be missing so I guess you never know!

With those 3 on the field it would still be Becks.. He is so gifted from set pieces and should always be the number one taker when on the field. When he isnt playing, Downing and Barry like to step up and Rooney isnt afraid to have a go either.
