Pretty nasty and it's suppose to continue into the next morning. I don't work until 4pm. But I'm outside working. So who knows. I'll have to call tomorrow if they're open.

Work went alright, and then I ran some errands and had a quick walk since it was nice outside. I also got to go to the public library and finally renew my card. It was beat to hell but still scanned, which is a miracle since I've had it since childhood (and thankfully I didn't owe any late fees! Yay!). They actually had a nice Blu/DVD section. I haven't been there in forever because I'm always so busy, so it's nice to see that they're doing well.

That's good to hear. I go to my local one too every so often,

Now I'm looking online at their site at some books to check out for my Kindle. Yeah, I read. I'm all classy and sh**.

That's a good point. Maybe they'd have you working inside, though.

I'm writing a pros and cons list about certain things I let become baggage. I've got rid of 85% of the crap in my life that made me depressed, now just looking at what else I need to do to get focused and fully back to the person I was, at least mindset wise, 10 years ago. I'm reading these "life coach" websites and a few books to find a good way to get that inner peace I really desire. I'm thinking about picking up a few Eckhart Tolle books.

See? Things like this are proof that you're going to be just fine. You're tackling, head-on, things that are making you unhappy. No doubt the road won't always be smooth and it'll have more bumps in the future, but I have faith in you. I know for a fact that you'll do well and be just fine. You just have to keep being you. You're already a great person, and once you tackle whatever you feel will help you feel even better (you've made a ton of progress and I'm very proud of you for that!), things will be even better.

The best is yet to come for you, my friend. Just keep being you.

Have you looked in to cognitive behavioral therapy ? It's a very useful "tool" and you are in essence already practicing it to a degree. There is a wealth of good books on the topic of CBT out there.

I found a few books after reading your post.

Mind Over Mood, Second Edition: Change How You Feel by Changing the Way You Think is what I found at B&N local. Do you have any recommendations?

Unofficially since I'm not allowed to dispense medical advice of any kind, I think you should consider having a psychoanalysis done by a licensed psychiatrist.

Nope. No interest in paying someone to talk to me nor be pushed on drugs. I got over OCD, Anxiety and Suicidal thoughts on my own and I'll get over whats left of my issues on my own. I know I can't always be positive, but being less shoot first ask questions later needs to leave my mindset.

I'm temperamental myself and I also suck at not overreacting to things but that's who I am and since I'm nearly 36, I doubt that's ever going to change. Why I try to avoid interacting with most people and it annoys me when people I don't like try to socialize with me or interact with me.
