Switch 2 systems are live right now on the app.

Update: was gone about an hour later. I picked one up, says it will arrive Monday.

That Target "notify me when it's back" option is pretty useless. Never got a notification for either Switch 2 console. If I didn't happen to check on their website at the right time I never wouldn't seen them.

I bought a Switch 2 yesterday and that purchase qualified for a $10 reward. That’s not fair. New release consoles should be excluded. I’m not complaining, lol.

Target is offering a Free Target Circle 360 Annual membership to me. Smells of desperation. I will need to research this more. I’m not sure if I need it.

Unlike Amazon Prime, I don't see the real advantage of going from a standard circle member to a 360 circle member. I can live without 2 day shipping. Maybe I am missing something.

You can order groceries, household essentials (detergent, toilet paper etc) and the like straight to your address from the local store of your choice (if stock is available) free of charge, no delivery fees. Just gotta pay your shopper/driver a tip for their time/energy/gas

Saves you gas and time, plus it’s handy whenever there’s crappy weather in your area and you don’t wanna step out to grocery shop, they do it for you.

So, you get the best deal without having to split it up into multiple orders. Where amazon's copycat sale always knocks off the cheapest items only. So with amazon it's better to place separate orders for each set of 3 titles you want. But with target you don't have to, which also means, the larger the order, the better chance more of it ships in a box.
This was my experience with both deal types B2G1 and B1G1-50% at Target. Everything scaled. It is easier to see this if you happen to have identical or similarly priced items, especially since your cart may not list them in any particular order. I bought waves of items roughly in the 80's, 33's, 25's, and 18's in both sale types in the same cart, and they all deducted according to same relative price points.

And likewise for what you said about Amazon and splitting those orders. I have found splitting necessary as you said.

If it's free, take it. Every month they offer you a free item or special discount from several choices. Last month (my first) I got free Men's gummy vitamins and this month I got $10 off a "Good and Gather" Purchase.

Appreciate that, but we have Target right down the block, and we frequently are in that area anyhow. But I can see where those benefits are attractive to some.

360 doesn't benefit me since I live five minutes away from a Target, but lately it's getting harder to shop at Target when what I want is locked away behind the glass and employees never come to help no matter how many times I buzz them.

I tried using the "in case of emergency, break glass" justification to get an item - it didn't work.

I'm 5-10 mins away from Target, so I don't mind the drive. I guess 1 year for a free membership is worth trying. I just need to cancel this subscription next year, so I don't get charged for it. This offer ends on the 28th.

I got the free membership in May. I joined. Haven't used the same day delivery even once, but you do get a free item every month (varies by month). In May, I got free gummy vitamins. In June, it was $10 off a large selection of items. I was able to get 2 food items for free.
Dunno if I'll ever use the free same day delivery or not, but I'll keep getting the free items, then cancel before the year is up. It's nice to have in a pinch, like if I'm really sick and can't leave the house. Usually I can wait for the standard free delivery, or just make a trip to my local store.

There is one decent perk to 360 (which I got for free by spending $150 within a week). You get an extra 30 days for returns so can help with movie sales.

Not sure you can trust that for movies though. Several years ago, they burned me for a $120 return that was even approved by an agent. That was before they started outsourcing movies.

You can see the extended timeframe in your orders. I haven’t had any issues, I use those 60 days to see if better prices come up.

I just subscribed. They offered me June’s Freebies, so I selected the free Favorite Day trail mix.
